Will T25 work with my own diet plan?

I just bought T25 and hope to start this weekend (or sooner if it gets here). Problem is, I'd rather do my own diet. I'm currently attempting to do a lower carb plan around 1200-1300 calories per day. Will I see decent results on my own diet plan or should I follow T25 to a T (no pun intended)?

PS - I have about 100 lbs to lose but would like to lose about 50-60 of them by March 9, 2014. I'd planned to start with T25, if I liked that, move on to Hip Hop Abs, then try Insanity OR go to Crossfit with my husband.

Height: 5'5"
Age: 30
Current: 233 lbs.
Final Goal: 135 lbs.

T25 includes a Nutrition Guide, not a plan. It's there to offer some basic nutrition information and recipe ideas. You're free to eat whatever you want and adapt it to your goals, though many people here would recommend you eat more than 1300 calories a day.

I've had great success with T25 in my first 6 wks of the program. I lost 12 lbs in the first 5 wks of it - Alpha phase. I haven't followed its nutrition guide. I just eat clean - log what I eat. Really I eat a lot of the same things every day to take the guesswork out of it. I usually eat a vanilla Shakeology in the morning (lots of protein) and then I eat high protein/low carb for the rest of day. I try to have very little processed foods. If I do have something processed - it's whole wheat/fiber-rich or something other nutrient rich/dense foods.
I also eat lean meats (chicken, turkey, fish) -- I rarely eat beef or pork. Drink lots of water! No diet sodas (too much sodium) and very little alcohol.
