  • Done. I feel it's getting a little easier. I even did the jump rope instead of jogging on the spot like usual. I'm rubbish at the lunges but even today I feel my form was a little better. I'm going to wait until the end of level one to measure. I don't feel any changes yet and I don't want to be disappointed if I'm still…
  • Day three done. Definitely prefer working out first thing in the morning. 9pm is too hard. I was tired from working all day And I almost had myself talked out of it but I persevered and I did it.
  • I'm new and need friends. add me https://www.fitbit.com/user/2PPHFH
  • I'm having problems walking down the stairs lol. I forgot how sore you feel the first couple of days. 2 days down, only 28 more to go :)
  • Day two done. Managed to squeeze it in before work. Can I say Owwww!!! legs are on fire but feeling great.
  • Hubbie got up at half four to go to the gym and accidentally woke the baby, so once i got her back to sleep I thought why not just do it now and get it over with.
  • Phew!!!! First day done :) I found it really hard. I had to modify the jump rope move to jogging on the spot and I had the strong hand weights (4.5kg is just too heavy for me) but feel accomplished that its done and all before 6am :) good luck everyone else!
  • I I think recording the bad days as well as the good days is a great start. You will see where you fell down and hopefully next time you will think twice about eating something you know was really high in cals and either cut down the portion size or find a healthier alternative. Sometimes I find logging food before I eat…
  • Michelle, I lost both weight and inches with the 30 DS, I really think it works. To be honest I get a bit sick of Jillian too and once I sort of know the routine I mute her so I don't have to listen to her until I'm at the next level lol. After I do the 30DS, I too am going to try the T25 but I've heard it's really hard…
  • You can set your own pace Meg. The last time I did it 5 days (m-f) took sat and sun as rest days and then did the second 5 days and then two rest days again before starting level two so it took me 6 weeks rather than 30 days. This time round I am just going to go for it. All 30 days in a row.
  • welcome everyone. so excited to see so many people joining me in this challenge.
  • I agree with Karen. She had some great advice though I would say that while yes, exercise is for fitness but (for me) it's also a way to have that wee bit of chocolate or treat without going over my cals for the day :) I totally get where you are at. I've been there. Set yourself some small goals that are easily achievable…
  • I'm a recently committed againer too. I used mfp to lose 56 lbs in 2012 then i sort of fell off the band wagon and got pregnant and fastforward to today, I have a beautiful almost 9 month old put back on almost all the weight i lost. Last tuesday I decided to lose this weight once and for all and have been logging ever…
  • I completely understand what you going through. I just had to wean my 9 month there due to work commitments and she is my second and my last and I am feeling slightly berift that I will never again breastfeed or be pregnant again but at the same time I was ready to finish breastfeeding and start working on losing this baby…
  • Hi. This is my second pregnancy I'm due August 17th. I lost 50lbs last year using mfp got down to 175 went off the rails a bit during and after my holiday in sept 12 and was back up to 185 when I found out I was pregnant. Now I'm creeping up and weigh 189 I don't want to go back into the 200's so I'm hoping to eat healthy…
  • Already friends with you ;)
  • I've already lost 50lbs using this site but I have been struggling the past month and weight slowly creeping on. I've just reset my ticker to zero and want to start afresh. I KNOW I can do this. We all can do this. Add me if u like and we can motivate each other
  • Kendra, I wish u could be as supportive to yourself as you are to all of us. You look amazing. Your legs look in proportion to ur body. Your upper body does NOT look fat. Anyone who says different are jealous and will have ME to deal with!! Lol
  • bump for later. In work and pics dont show
  • My right thigh is nearly an inch bigger than my left, bizarrely. And they seem to be shrinking at a similar rate yet I thought they wud even out. Maybe some time they will...
  • Thank you so much for sharing ur story and keeping us updated. It's like a fairy tale come true LOL. You look absolutely amazing.
  • Wow. That's all I can say. Wow. You look amazing. What a transformation. You should be so proud if everything u have achieved. You don't even look like u have much loose skin. That's my greatest fear too but as you said, lose skin is def more preferable to what my arms tummy and legs looked Luke at the start. The before…
  • My husband has been on mfp with me the entire 8 months and had been so encouraging to me and lost 45lbs himself in the process. Because of our success, my mum. My dad, my sister, two of my brothers, a couple of cousins and a really good friend of mine have all joined mfp and are consistantly losing weight. This site rocks.
  • Graduated on tues and run my first timed 5k today. Completed in 33:25. Position 113 of 129, the 29th female finisher. Can't believe I did it. I'm so excited. After I run a few more 5k's I'm going to start the bridge to 10k.
  • I'm far from an expert and my food diary needs a lot of work but I had a glance at the last few days of ur diary and I notice u are eating the same food everyday. Maybe change it up a bit. Again I am no expert and I'm probably not practicing what I am preaching but maybe less processed and more whole foods. Chocolate chip…
  • Oreos are evil eating them's a sin But sins are forgiven so dive right in
  • Amazing thread. So inspiring. Keep 'em coming.
  • Dawn, amazing progress. I can't believe the changes you have achieved. I've started (and failed) many times to complete the 30ds but ur b4 and after pics really inspire me to dust off the dvds and give jm another spin. Out of the 3, 30ds, ri30 and 6w6p, which do u think had the best results?
  • Hats off to you. I'm not sure I could have resisted if that had happened to me but now the next time I'm tempted with something I really don't need I'm going to remember ur victory and (hopefully) resist. Thanks for sharing.
  • But surely we're mostly on here to get smaller, not bigger :)
