I'd whack your stats into a few calculators - http://health.qandas.com/diet/how-many-calories-do-i-need-to-lose-maintain-or-gain-weight.html Although I think you can set MFP for maintenance rather than loss...

Woop! This may be the best thing I've ever read on MFP. Definitely top 5.

Oh you bunch of actual legends. Feel much better about it now - and motivated to go for a longer run tomorrow (great suggestion, annegenevieves). Thanks to everyone for their advice; it's a killer trying to be perfect all the time and in answer to skierxjes - it felt pretty good to be bad... :)

Anything with oats in it is also good for keeping blood sugar stable through the night and limiting nocturnal hypoglycemia - this can cause insomnia and it stinks. Believe me.

When flatmates write passive aggressive notes on things in the fridge. Oh frig off - like I want your stinking left-over burgers anyway.

Oh what the Helvetica - I'll admit it. I enjoy a nice piece of text in Arial from time to time.

Protein confuses me more than anything - even more than when cows do that huddling thing in the corner of a field. Everybody says something different about protein levels - but I bet someone's already written a pretty informative blog post all about it on this here site... anyone?

Agree with both answers above, but starting to run rather than walk really did it for me :)

I always check this out when I feel a bit low: http://before-afters.tumblr.com/ But failing that, maybe buy a cool new fitness DVD - or try an exercise you've always wanted to try? (Zumba for me!)

Oh my goodness - totally agree with this! I feel like such a failure if I'm getting anywhere near a "net eat" of 1200, but like others I suppose I'd better eat them. I tend to feel pretty tired if I don't...
