Im super confused by this post. My understanding is that under 1200 calories and your body goes into survival mode and starts hoarding fat/ burning muscle and gaining weight. Why would you want to trigger that in your body? Isn't it smarter to stay at 1200 and lose weight slower or am I not understanding something here?

Just looked at our diary from yest- You did a great job all day long with the exception of the sugar cookie- and even that only put you a few calories over. Don't beat yourself up...tomorrow- eat 1/2 the cookie.

So- I misunderstood your question about burning calories- I'm the goof that wrote over 10,000 burned on average per week. Wouldn't that be wild! ACTUALLY- the average is 1031.5- but I've only been at it for 1.5 weeks so that might not be a good representation.

I figure if on my cheat days I stay between my caloric intake goal 1450 and what they list as my caloric intake to just maintain-2450 then I'm golden.
