I know I hold my breath going down. Not sure if I exhaled coming up or after I came up. But the headache was instantaneous. By the time I went down to squat my third time, my head was throbbing like hell. And this was on my working weight.

Yes I have started getting these too. Right when I am doing the squats. did some research online and found could be due to dehydration, empty stomach or breathing technique. I am sorry if I used the word Stalling in a wrong sense. What I am trying to say is I can complete the 5X5's at that weight. Just made Chipotle's Veggie Burrito in a Bowl with Quinoa instead of rice(with lime juice and cilantro), black beans, onions & peppers, corn and red salsa, guacamole, greek yogurt, reduced fat cheese topped with shredded lettuce. Delish!!!l

Not to hijack the thread, but it is somewhat related to balance. Last night I did the OHP with 35 lb bar (that looks like dumbells on a long rod) and I kept leaning back slightly to avoid hitting my face with the bar. Am I doing this correctly?

Thank you all for your supportive replies. Today is workout B. Plan on lifting a little heavier. I guess I was intimidated doing the squats with perfect form and weights. I am thinking of going as low as i can with a heavier weight and continue to attain perfect form. Will post how today's workout goes.

I have recently gotten back on track and want to start lifting. I am currently doing 1 hour cadio 3 to 4 days a week and Zumba 2 days a week. Are you saying I could give these up and concentrate solely on lifting heavy and still lose the weight while eating at a deficit?

I cook half cup dry oatmeal with a 1/4 cup wild blueberries(frozen from Sam's) with water for 31/2 minutes in microwave and add a 1/4 cup milk and half measure protein powder and eat that for breakfast.

Lately I have been craving cupcakes. Seriously though, how many calories would there be in a medium cupcake with icing? 200 or 300 calories? Can't you just adjust your daily intake to make allowance for the cupcake? Oh my favorite is red velvet with cream cheese icing.
