I'm in Somerset :)

I cut mine into cubes and season with a bit of crushed garlic and a sprinkle of rosemary. Then I roast it with some 1 cal spray along with some sweet red pepper, mushrooms and courgette chunks. Then serve it topped with grilled chicken :)

Poached egg on soya and linseed toast. I can't live without a filling breakfast!

That's a great challenge. I've sorted my nutrition but the exercise is my biggest problem. I have a real issue with being sweaty. I barely manage 5000 steps a day, so this would be great encouragement.

I have 130 lbs to lose!

The huge majority of people don't lose consistently every week. You will hit plateaus and minor gains because our bodies adapt quickly and so will fluctuate. While a gain is demotivating, it's just a small part of a much bigger picture. Eating 750 calories is not going to get you to reach your goal. Our bodies don't work…

The final part of snowdon is very steep and isn't rocky so you can't scramble up, at least that's how I remember it from 5 years ago. You have to rely on your legs and the ground is covered in slate and rock chippings so it's quite unsteady. Its a real leg burner! So anything you can do to prepare you self for that would…

The biggest shock I've had having gained 100lbs is the struggle to put socks and shoes on. It feels like trying to touch your toes with a beach all up your tshirt! And also, snoring!

When I feel demotivated I instinctively gravitate towards the kitchen. So now I get all the things I'm tempted to eat and I sit and read the packaging. I read all the chemicals, preservatives and finally the nutritional information. Seeing how many nasties are in processed food is a real motivator, because I'm starting to…

My children motivate me. I want to be able to run around with them and be a good example of a healthy adult instead of watching them play from a bench. I want to be in photographs instead of feeling so ashamed I insist on holding the camera. My other motivations are my wedding, to go back to dancing groups and to complete…

I think this is key! I've struggled for years with emotional eating. Write it down. When you're experiencing emotional hunger, write down what's causing it. Then deal with that instead of medicating with food. The better you understand your weaknesses, the easier it is to overcome them :)

Down 5lbs this week :) My April goal is 10lb so that takes some pressure off! I haven't introduced myself. I'm Catherine, I'm 24 and mum of 2, I'm running a small business from home as a seamstress while the kids are young, then I plan to go back into law. I'm losing the weight firstly for myself, secondly for my children…

I went from 180 to 135 a while back. I got a lot more attention. But it could be a confidence thing. I wore better fitted clothes and held myself better when I walked because I wasn't trying to hide myself away. Humans are attracted to confidence. So I suppose I can't give you a real answer.

I have 50lbs to go. Last time I saw the scale start with a 1 was 3 years ago!

Today wasn't too bad. I am still down with this virus so exercise just wasn't on the agenda. I've been okay food-wise though :) hope you all had a good day!

I think it's normal to have days like this. Can't win them all sadly. I think perhaps just roll with it, do some damage limitation. Maybe go for a walk at lunch or do some exercise this evening to try to compensate for any overeating. Some days you just have to say "okay it wasn't a great day" and hope tomorrow will be…

I logged my bad day yesterday. I felt very cross with myself as I did it. Today will be a better day!

A glass of water usually helps me. It's sometimes thirst rather than hunger :) Or brush your teeth/drink pickle water and see if you still have the craving.
-
I have a problem with over eating, mindless eating, emotional eating. Always happy to support others who struggle with the same :)
-
I couldn't start it last night, kids were in overdrive! Tonight is the night! I'm going to take some measurements so I can see the results :) feel free to add me! :)

I'll join! I've been trying to motivate myself to exercise!

I think I know the post you're talking about. I agree with you 100%. I'm always here, looking for a small victory story or a big one!
