I'm with you on number 3. My biggest way of veering off track is when I allow myself a "reward" for doing so well. That reward turns into an overall, "you-can-do-this-just-for-now". Then those moments become more and more frequent until my entire diet has been completely derailed! You are right about how constantly…

Sometimes when I exercise a ton, I just can't eat back all those calories. It's not because i don't want to, and it's not because I'm starving myself.

I am trying IF a few days a week. Eventually I'd like to do it every day. There are IF groups on here if you are not already a part of them.

30 minute run!

Feeling amazing in jeans. Love jeans!!! Can't wait to rock 'em like a rock star!!

I use my crock pot to make things as simple as possible, so I don't really use any recipes. I just throw in a roast or whole chicken with tons of veggies and I'm good to go. I would like to try some actual recipes in the future though. Like this one: http://paleopot.com/2012/02/hungry-man-sweet-potato-casserole/

Cute glasses!! And bow!

I don't eat a lot of sugar at all, so I eat 85% dark chocolate everyday to satisfy any sweet cravings I may have. I have just a bit or two. It can take a while to get used to the taste, but I love it!

A lot of my triathlete friends drink chocolate milk after a workout. Some also drink Ensure.

This is always how I make broccoli! Yes, it's divine!

I keep my house pretty warm during the day as well to cut down on the electirc bill. When I'm at work, it's set to 82. When I am home I set the thermostat to 77 or so, and run fans, but not in the kitchen. I guess the coconut oil is always going to be liquid!!! .... until winter anyway!

Yeah, the GI thing is a little gross. I've heard stories about "leakage" and having to go home and clean yourself in the middle of the day. This occurs when you get off track with your eating. It worked for a friend of mine; she lost a lot of weight while on it, but that's because taking it FORCES you to eat right. Why not…

Are you on Pinterest? If so, here's mine: http://pinterest.com/kbray003/food/ It's not all paleo, but a lot of it is. There are some pretty yummy things on there. I am going to make the spaghetti squash bake tomorrow with grass fed ground beef..... OMG I can't wait!

If I have a bunch of bags and stuff (like at an airport) I will stop because it's difficult sometimes to lift my bags and try to walk past others. But any other time, I keep walking. But, don't worry.... even when I stop I move myself and all my junk out of the way of others.

Cream only. No sugar.

Ok, lesson learned..... from now on ALWAYS be about 5 minutes late to the very first class of the semester. Guys used to tell me this all the time.... they would purposely show up late on the first day and then find a seat next to all the cute girls. Normally where you sit on the first day is just naturally where you sit…

That's what I figured. It's in the cabinet next to the oven. I got it out last night about an hour after cooking dinner. Thanks!

You can add me!

Only if you are standing up, rocking out, and maybe head-banging!!! I guess you can, but I don't log things like that.... just do 'em and consider it a bonus.

I hate bands. I feel like I can't control my movements..... like I can't lift in a fluid manner. Hope that makes sense.

My carb flu started day 2 as well. Certainly not too early. The headache stage went away after day 4, but I would still have a general feeling of malaise for a while.
-
Great results! I eat when i'm hungry and if I'm not, I don't eat (much). Sometimes I find it had to reach my calorie goal and sometimes I'm way over. I pretty much never pay attention to it.... or at least I don't obsess or care if I'm over. I still lose consistently, so it works for me.

THIS, too.

They are good and you should eat them. But I do think it can be overdone.... I think from a Paleo standpoint, its the ratio of omega 6 to omega 3s. Consuming too many nuts would not be good because they have more omega 6s. I do not know all the details on this, but I do remember it from Primal Blueprint.

I don't understand why you would exploit your lizard like that. Lizards are people, too!

Look up intermittent fasting. I don't know much about it, but there's an entire group on here devoted to it. You may get some info there.
-
Then go ahead and have your twinkies. For some people, the goal is not about just losing weight. There's so much more to it than that for a lot of people.
-
I just want to say be prepared for the carb flu.... don't let it discourage you. Stick it out. You are going to see results and you will feel so great. you'll be happy you tried it.

Lift weights. Seriously.
