  • Its been about 8 months for me with PF. I'm just starting to feel relief after 2 cortisone shots, daily stretching, massages, & using the yoga strap. The frozen water bottle didn't help much so I switched to using a tennis ball with much success. The doc told me no flat shoes or slippers, he said to wear wedges at work, &…
  • Height: 5' 8" Age: 49 years Weight: 292 Current Weight: 270 Goal Weight: 170 I started back Dec 1st 2015 with eating healthier, but due to a heath issue exercise was put on hold. I'm hoping within the next week or two I'll make that happen. I'm not into fad diets, trends or drinks. I believe in eating your calories &…

  • Watch your sodium & fiber levels & eat more foods that release water i.e. watermelon, lemon, celery, Asparagus. No carbonated drinks & get plenty of exercise. If you drank a lot of water last night then that's what's probably showing up on the scale. Don't weigh yourself more than weekly or bi-weekly it can get…
  • I'm here after falling off for about 3 months. I just started a 12 week challenge so I decided to update MFP. I'm trying to use my blog at least 3 days a week, walking 1/2 hour a day, drinking 12 cups of water & not eating out. So far I'm only up to 8 cups of water & I ate out once this week. I've been completing…
  • If I can't find one that reads the same, I usually correct the numbers & specify "Revised per label".
  • You would have to be over 350 lbs for them to even complain & probably wearing a size 30 something or 5x & over. Then again your on the shorter side so maybe over 275 in weight.
  • Instead of choosing final goal weight just say your going to lose 5 lbs. When you hit that goal then do another 5 & so on until you get to a comfortable weight.
  • I started back on my plan in December, but haven't been too strict. I'm 274.6 lbs & chose my goal weight by adding about 15 to 20 lbs to the lowest weight I've ever been in my 20's. My goal weight is 175-185, if I get anywhere in that area I'll be happy. I believe all the charts say at 5' 8" I should be 165 at my highest…
  • Hi Ladies, My name is Kim & I'll be 47 tomorrow. I'm looking forward to shedding about 100 pounds before I hit 50 in 3 years. I've been on & off my plan for years & really need to get it together & focus. All time highest weight outside of MFP is 298, my lowest weight was at 160. MFP Totals: SW - 273 CW - 259 GW - 175
  • Bump
  • a handsome cop with curly hair
  • Woke up last Saturday & was just tired of my clothes getting to tight & sick of all the fast food. I've been on & off of MFP since probably 2011, but this time I made a twelve month plan that I put into action Sept 3rd. My first week is going very well, now my test will be this weekend. What I really get disgusted at is…
  • I'm guilty of #9, when I get a taste for pop tarts its on & popping. Hmmm I might have to go buy some tomorrow, lol. Thanks for the post.
  • Hi Everyone, I've been on MFP for about a year or so, but fell off a number of times. I do believe MFP works as I've seen a couple of my personal friends succeed in removing all of their weight & are still down today. Today, I decided that I'm going to do this the right way & make a plan for the whole year hopefully to…
  • I agree, I also have a Fitbit, Zip which calculates your steps, calories burned & distance. I also have a ultra, which I can't find at the moment, this calculates steps, calories burned, distance, sleep & stairs climbed. It's the best way to keep track of your walking & it will link with My Fitness Pal to show added…
  • I think we're close, add me. Age: 46 SW: 273 CW: 271 UGW: 165 Height: 5'8"

  • I'm checking them out also, sister. The only thing my eyes zoomed in on was 6' 3", lol. I want to know where the single ones are? So far their kinda cute.
  • Just about to go get my Kozy Lactaid Free Tapioca for my snack when I came across this question. Lunch I had (2) small crab cakes, (1) arnold sandwich thin, & a orange.
  • Yes, I'm also a 22 & can't wait to get to a 18. Hopefully I can acheive that before the end of this year.
  • I used to weigh in every two weeks on payday which always made me feel especially happy if there was a loss. Now I only weigh in on the last day of the month so I don't get caught up on the weight. If feels much better to see all the NSV's then it was to worry about the number on the scale going down or not.
  • If you have 65 or 91 pounds to lose I'm pretty sure 1200 calories is not enough. Try recalculating your calories using what MFP suggests for a 2 pound loss per week. I'm not sure about the calories burned since I just go with what MFP suggest, maybe you might want to get a heart rate monitor or something to keep track.
  • I think it depends also on your bone structure. I'm 5'8" & would look like I was near death at 135. I look better no lower than 155 since I have a large bone structure. In talking with my doctor she suggested that I don't go under 160.
  • Ok, took a minute to think of something other than food to reward myself with when I hit my goals. You know that's very hard to do these days. 15 lbs - Sneakers 25 lbs - Kindle Fire or other tablet 40 lbs- New clothing 50 lbs- Bracelet 60 lbs- Pendant & Chain 70 lbs- Diamond Earrings 80 lbs- Sexy Clothing 90 lbs- Island…
