Welcome to the most fantastic group of people I have met, they will support you every step of the way. I found leaving your food and exericse diary open to all helps as you can get pointers in the right direction. Try Charger440's daily challenges as well, they are awesome. You don't need to do them all or the reps he…

I'm in as house/garden bound for the next few days. Will use my 0.5kg weights holding two in one hand. Note to self - buy proper weights...

I'm on 1200 calories a day, with 30 mins exercise (Curves) x 3 per week. On exercise days up the calories to 1500. I'm pretty consistently losing 1/2 to 1lb per week. I figure this loss is enough to be sustainable over the long term and allowing me time to retrain my eating habits. I originally wanted to loose 2 stone but…

Mine is 200 step ups, using my stairs as I was late home from work today.

Have a go at eating nearer your calorie goal and try tracking your water intake. You could also track sugar, this may help you see more clearly. The trouble with no eating your calories is that your body goes into starvation mode and you may be losing muscle not fat. Drink 500ml of water 1/2 hour before each meal. You…

I used Curves three time a week. Love it, love the fact it's women only, love the support. Can't be nice enough about them, I've been going about 6 weeks now. Between Curves and eating 1,200 calories and eating back my exercise calories i've lost just over 10lbs. Not a massive loss but a sustainable one which is what we…

Love the reaction you get from Puppies when you get home, they really show the love, I have a West Highland Terrier who goes bonkers when I get home from work. Cats are cool and self-reliant and mine is very snobbish sometimes.

That is a fantastic result.

I'm in ... Have it at home but never really looked at it seriously.

Hi Mini, I have the exact same problem. Jogging/running a little during your walks may help plus doing some sit ups and an exercise a Physio gave me was to go down on all fours. Trying to keep your back straight imagine a piece of string between your tummy buttona and your back and try to draw it up towards your back. Work…

I've had two now. 10 years with no periods, bliss. One thing I would say is that they hurt a litlle when being taken out to be replaced. My GP advised taking ibuprofen (for those who are not allergic to it) an hour before the appointment. Had very little trouble with weight gain due to it. Definately recommend it.

I'm in. Thanks for organising these fantastic mini challenges, I'm sure it made a difference to my loss this week of 2.8lbs which was my highest to date.

I use Curves and are very happy with them. I like the ladies only environment. Our UK price is £34 per month and I go three times a week. You can have as much one to one time with the ladies as you need which i really like and find I don't get in a "normal" gym.

I have graze boxes running above mine, 200 + calorie snacks / and Immodium (lovely)

That is so funny....

Thinking of all of you in the US today. May God's love shine on you. I remember being in a Supermarket when the first tower was hit with my husband and daughter who was then just 8 weeks old. The TV section was showing what was then thought of as an accident in New York. My husband went over and the check out lady said she…

Hey you, way to go. I have been on about 4 weeks now and lost 7lbs overall. I think it is a very good way to be honest with yourself when you are logging everthing you put in your mouth, although at the end of the day you are only accountable to yourself it really does help to have a good group of friends to encourage and…
