  • Kind of in the same boat! I've lost and gained twice now since I started MFP several years ago. All of the contacts I had previously no longer log in, or no longer comment. Would love some new friends who are in to motivating one another! Anyone interested, add me!
  • I'll add you also! I need all the encouragement I can get!
  • Hi! Newly re-engaged long time MFP member here. 48, need to lose about 40 lbs. All of the people I had originally connected with seem to no longer be active. Could use some friends that are interested in encouragement and following this journey with support. Add me!
  • Be sure you are being honest with him first and foremost. If you indeed have zero attraction to him at all, that of course is an issue. But loss of attraction can be for SO many non physical reasons also. Look deep within yourself and ask what else could be adding to this. Many things can contribute to loss of attraction,…
  • Feel free to add me. 43 and 30 lbs to lose.
  • I'm 42 (43 in July) and refuse to be middle aged and fat any longer! Feel free to add me, my diary is open to friends.
  • Hi. I am way older than you so I have to work at it much harder. It's 80%nutrition. You can go to the gym 7 days a week but if you don't change the way you eat you won't get too far. I track my food and do Herbalife products. Nutrition is so important, and so much of what we eat has nothing
  • I travel for work too. Feel free to add me.
  • Hi. I could use some motivation too. Been on here a while and doing pretty good.
  • I always get a craving for hot wings. As spicy as they can get!
  • Currently I'm at 192, 5'7 and want to get down to roughly 155-160 (I am of a large frame). So I have 30-35 lbs to go. Feel free to add me if you'd like.
  • Shoot me now. This week has been murderous for me at work and at home. First week fo school for my 10 year old, my dryer broke so we've been dryer shopping for the past few days, and here I am at thursday and haven't worked out ONCE this week. I'm angry w/ myself, but tonight it's back to the schedule. At least I have been…
  • You should see results much quicker. Around 2008 I lost 30 lbs in 3 mos (started around 220). You'll be surprised. It's getting closer to your goal that is so dang hard. I've been trying to lose the last 20-25 for a while now. My lowest was 184, but now I'm back up to 191. UGGG. KEEP GOING!!

  • I hear you should expect to gain a lb or two. I'm actually up 1.5. BUT, I FEEL better, so I guess it's a trade off? I've never been much of a scale junkie, I just want a flatter stomach and I want my clothes to fit better. I'm kind of discouraged at the calorie burn for these workouts seeing as they are so "insane". I am…

  • I've been using the HRM too. I'm kind of obsessive w/ being accurate, so I caved in and bought one about a month ago lol.
  • Yea, I burned about 40 calories less w/ this one than the last one too. Totally ready for cardio recovery (hopefully the word recovery in the title doesn't mean we'll need lots of recovery afterwards lol)!!! GOOD WEEK GUYS!
  • So sadly I only got a few hours sleep on Tuesday night, so I skipped yesterday because I was whipped. Did this workout today, and yea, I felt a litlte sick after the jumps and the globe jump combos. Kicked my butt. But afterwards, I was ready to do more!!! Maybe because I had a 5 shot starbucks this morning lol.... Ready…
  • Ok I do this tonight, and now I'm skeered!! LOL
  • Heart rate monitors are key, in my opinion anyway. Everyone burns calories at a different rate, and I don't rely on the exercise lists in here. I got the Mio Petite for about $40 at Academy sports. You can find them on Amazon for a little cheaper, but I am impatient...lol. The boot camp I was doing prior to Insanity…
  • I've never had knee problems, but if they're constantly hurting through this, you may want to inform your Dr. Knees are nothing to ignore. I know several people who have had knee replacements, even as young as early 40's! Maybe also take a look at the shoes you are wearing and make sure they are durable and fit properly.…
  • Ok, so jk_toren totally kicked our *kitten*! LOL GO DUDE!
  • I was never "skinny", but was not fat either. I had my first kid at 24, and wow, the lbs packed on and were super hard to get rid of. Add 2 more kids and 8 more years and I had packed on about 60 lbs. I was up to 229 at my absolute worst. Today I'm at 189, and want to get to 160. I guess we'll do day by day posts to keep…
  • Hi, absolutely! Group is open to the public. I see you said starting again. Did something about the workout make you quit or did you just lose movivation or not have time? I have to say the workout kind of scares me...lol.
  • Yay! I'm so excited about this! I created a group and sent you all invites (I hope I did it right...lol). Group is called Insanity Challenge 7/31. Anyone who wants to join in, I made it public. The more the merrier! LET'S DO THIS!!!
  • To avoid eating the wrong things, and avoid over eating. Exercise starting early! And eating for 20 while you are pregnant is NOT a good idea!! LOL
  • If you notice the posts on the news feed, it gives you a TOTAL calories burned from any exercises you enter that day, and only puts the one you entered first on the feed. For example, if I burn 131 calories walking my dog, 300 calories doing the elliptical, and 800 calories doing my boot camp session, it will say I burned…
  • I actually got diagnosed w/ Hypothyroidism back in January (I had gained 10 lbs since summer and had a never ending craving for anything in sight). I've been in Synthroid since Feb and have lost about 16 lbs. My dry skin got better, but isn't completely fixed. One thing different for me though is I'm also on Wellbutrin…
  • I just got back this week from about a month off. Feel free to add me. I could use a kick in the pants myself!
  • One cheat meal per week is fine, and go right back to your normal routine. Sometimes I derail myself w/ the cheats and think "hey, I didn't gain anything on that cheat meal, one more won't hurt" and back down the spiral I go.
