Wow!! I'm thinking more focus on some weight training and sit ups for definition rather than weight loss. You look great. What would make you perfect is some muscle which will make you look more compact.
-
Possibly a stupid question, but are you sure you have proper form?

Oops, sent you an email before I saw this post! lol Welcome to MFP and good luck on your journey to a healthier lifestyle and military career. Umm, side bends for love handles, maybe?

This is me as well. I have 2-3 cups of coffee and 1-2 cups of soda, but I drink 9-13 cups of water. If I don't have my water every hour, I am dying of thirst. (The peeing thing will level off, unless you drink a ton in one hour, lol) edited to add: ps. And I know I am not diabetic, blood work all good.

I'm a binger! That's why I've really tried to retrain myself with the help of MFP. I did the emotional binging, but now that I am hooked on exercising, I usually do something physical if I am upset or whatever, so that's one victory. I found that when I told myself no and can't, I did a "do what I want" binge. With MFP, I…

Same concept as hobo pies. You take those cast iron bread shaped things (aka "hobo pie makers) they sell in sporting goods stores in the camping section, open it up, butter one side of bread, place so that buttered side is down on the cast iron, slather on pizza sauce and all your favorite pizza ingredients, place another…

I don't judge people's diaries, (I'm the queen of binge) but I have commented on sodium if they go over ALOT or protein just so that they know I am actually paying attention and not just absentmindedly commenting to comment. So maybe don't take it as judgemental, take it as really caring.

Boyscout hamburgers are always a fave and hobo pizzas!

I've been someone who has deleted people off of my list. I find it demoralizing to see the red "has not logged in" phrase. Also, I am a needy person. I NEED interaction with my MFP friends to keep me motivated to log. I know I'm supposed to do this for me, but for some reason I operate better with positive reinforcement.…

It helped me...I get them all the time. Hope works for you! Good luck. Some OTC anti-inflammatories probably wouldn't hurt either.

I had my belly button pierced at 150 pounds. That was supposed to be my incentive for losing 25 pounds. Instead, I gained 46. I am now at 144 and I don't think my belly button has shifted or changed any and my piercing is still in the same place. If that's your reward, go for it! But you may want to play it safe, because…

Ice and rest, but mainly ICE.

Hopefully someone else will reply and be able to help! I'm facing the same dilemna you are. Been hovering at this mark since Christmas. Up two pounds down 1, up 1 down 2 etc. I'm not upset at the weight I am now, but would like to lose 9 more pounds. Kind of like "bumper pounds", where I can go up or down 5 lbs and not…

I keep going through periods like that. Do you have the support of your spouse? Mine needs to lose weight, but just hasn't gotten in the groove and sometimes I just wonder, "Is all this effort really worth it?" Do you have friends here on MFP? I find that the more interaction I have with others, the better I do. I guess I…

Use mini chocolate chips!

I eat almost all to all of my cals back. I also have cheat days on my days off from work where I go over 500-1000 calories for the day. But, that's what's worked for me, doesn't for everyone.

Congratulations!!! Amazing feeling isn't it? I had the same thing happen to me...now the pants are starting to get a little baggy! Just feels SO GREAT when you pull those suckers all the way up and button them comfortably. WAY TO GO!!!

Can you weigh yourself on your old scale to see if that is what's different?. I wouldn't be surprised if the weight difference isn't a combination of different scales and some water weight gain from working out. I read a post once that said a person will retain water for a bit if they are not used to working out hard.…

When I started out and it was crappy outside, or I didn't feel like exercising, I told myself at least do some stretches...then I figure "ok, I'm moving, do some sit ups" Well, since I did some sit ups, may as well do my girlie push ups, on and on. Most days that worked and before I knew it, I would go ahead and go for…

Just had the same happen to me today. Guess what I did? I had some! Keeping weight off is all about learning to eat what you want in moderation. What helped me today...I added fresh strawberries and half a banana to my half cup ice cream and 2 tblspns of hot fudge, mmmm! Oh, and I exercised too. Denying yourself just makes…

I feel bad no one is responding. I have no ideas to give you. Your diary is enviable. Wish I ate that well. Hopefully someone can respond sooner or later and give you some valuable advice. Good luck and keep at it. At the very least, you are eating healthier and getting exercise.

Hi, I'm no expert, but the majority of your days you've only consumed 750 or less calories. You really should strive for a minimum of 1000 calories a day with 1200 being optimal. My guess is your body is conserving for those lean periods. Although, many will say there is no such thing as starvation mode. I guess you're not…

First off, STOP focusing on the negatives. You are just bringing yourself down and depression never helps motivate a person. Start small and slow. Food is not the enemy or the reward. Food is nourishment to make your body strong. As for exercises, start with stretches and a walk. Add in sit ups and push ups. Do stairs…

LMAO! The skid marks in your underwear are soooo sexy!!

Hate to break it to you, but this will be an on-going cycle. Like the one poster said, even if it is cheesey (LOL) "Just do it". You'll kick into gear after a bit. Allow yourself a cheat day. One day a week where you agree with yourself not to log, obsess or feel guilty and eat what you want. You will be surprised, that as…

Almonds, pecans, protein bars or even your better cereal bars. Fruits, raisins etc. Leave enough time in your day so you can have a munchie after your workout.

This day and age, I wear a size ten and I am 5'6" and 146 pounds. 20 years ago, I wore a size 10 and I was 5'6.5" tall and weighed 115 pounds, I like the modern version of size 10.:drinker:

Also, stop being so hard on yourself. You are working on changing your lifestyle so you can maintain a healthy weight once you get there. Yes, you want to challenge yourself, but exercise should make you feel good, not stressed or frustrated. You will increase your speed as you lose the weight. Do you have a smart phone?…

I've been "pigging out" at 0100 when I get home from work (I work 4-midnite) ever since I started MFP last year. I tried eating a bigger dinner, eating a lighter dinner then having a late night snack, but nope, still want to eat lots when I get home. Keep track of what you eat while you eat it so you can burn it off later.…
