Hello, I am going to turn 43 this year and I would love some new motivational friends. Been at this for over a year and I am always learning new things here on MFP. We can do this!

Would love some new friends too. I have been on here for over a year and have learned a lot. I try to be active and supportive daily. This is a journey not a destination and we can all use support along the journey.

Thank you Moms for posting. I have had 4 babies, 3 of them c-sect. I have lost 40lbs and have not been able to lose the pooch. I am now even more motivated to not give up and keep trying.

To lose 10-14 lbs to reach my UGW. Been at my goal weight and maintenance for a while and now it is time to kick it up a notch and go for it. Looking forward to 2013 and all that it could be.

So glad you posted! I am 42 years old and a mother of 4. I have lost 40lbs so far, but the last 15-10lbs are killing me. I have always been the heaviest of my friends and it is so frustrating. Even now that I am down 40lbs I am still one of the heaviest. Would love new friends to motivate and go through the journey with.

Just turned 42, mother of 4 here. Teenage girl and 3 energetic boys. Very busy keeping up with them. Been on MFP since August 2011 and have lost 40lbs. I am finishing up P90X now and looking to start lifting heavy next. Would love to have new friends to help motivate and keep me motivated.

Sounds great! Need to get my measurements done. - will post later.

I have had a much harder time losing weight now that I am over 40. I have looked at all the ways to increase my metabolism such as eating small frequent meals, doing more exercises with weights to build muscle and just not getting stuck in a rut. I really do not think the HCG diet is a good idea.

Bump - great question
