Scales can be a bad thing if you obsess over the number, but I like to know how much I weigh so I do weigh ins once a week and then I measure every two weeks and take a picture when I need motivation!

Well MFP does allow you to track your measurements too. Let's face it, everything in the real world isn't "Look at me, I'm 19% body fat!" It's "Look at me, I'm 120 pounds now." I do agree that the scale isn't accurate, but that's something everyone here learns anyway. Thus, NSVs.

Ive seen that quite often in before and afters and I think in the end it's like every weight loss. Depending on age and skin (mainly) it will recede considerably but may never completely disappear. Just work hard on toning it down. It may take a few years for the skin to flatten back. (after losing the fat there, of course)

Whenever I used to do yoga in school, I hated it because I didn't find it relaxing in the slightest :( I couldn't hold any positions and had a hard time with in. I'm naturally flexible and I dance. I wish I enjoyed it but endorphins refuse to be released even at the mention of yoga.

Thanks for the concern guys :) I took the weekend off and my throat seems to be recovering. I did slip in some kayaking last night, but just to work my abs and arms. Water and rest is a miracle worker!
