I believe you calculate calories by measuring the specific gravity of your brew prior to fermentation and then after, then comparing the two...this is also how you calculate the alcohol percentage...they sell this little test tube thing at most all brew shops for only like $10 or so

It's not terrible meals...but you could improve them =) What kind of instant oatmeal? one with lots of extra sugar? You could add fruits and a smidge of brown sugar to plain steel cut oatmeal for a much heathier version. Ham and bean soup made form scratch or a can? Can=too much sodium usually. Lower your goal to .5 lbs per week....then your calorie count will be higher and you won't have to risk going into starvation mode!

Hmm...have you been strength training? Because muscle weighs more than fat...maybe you are just replacing your fat weight with muscle weight?

It's easier to stay under your calorie budget if you eat healthy foods....less dense...less calories....but i like to save at least 100 calories for the end of the day for some frozen yogurt for dessert =)

If you have added strength training, perhaps you are gaining muscle (while still losing fat) as muscle weighs more than fat!

Well...for one...i have read that drinking chocolate milk POST exercise helps with muscle recovery...so if you want, add a glass of low fat chocolate milk to your diet after a vigorous workout...you'll be fueling your body and eating back some of the calories =)

Consuming white bread on a daily basis also keeps your body addicted to the refined 'empty calorie' carbs...why not switch to a more healthy alternative?
