Oh heck yes you can see a difference! Just look at your legs for example-- they look much more muscular in your 'after' than in your 'before'! Great work, keep it up! P.S. I have no thyroid. It ****ing sucks. So I understand your struggle COMPLETELY.

In the A.M. after using the potty. One time I was curious and weighed before and after to see if it would change. It didn't, but I still try and think it makes a difference.

*shivers* Processed food is scary business. It's like I would be choosing between cancer and peanut butter. I choose peanut butter.

I am a metalsmith. You generally have to start out annealing your metal-- which is heating it until almost it's melting point. Heating it makes the molecules in the metal line up and the metal becomes softer, or easier to move, as a result. As you hit the metal with a hammer, it knocks those molecules around, causing them…

I would definitely advise to try and stay away from alcohol that contains any gluten grains, just to see if that could be it. With a gluten allergy you're going to get things like stomach pain, bloating, diarrhea, headaches, joint pain, and even brain fog as common symptoms. Gluten Grains: Wheat; including varieties like…

Oh, well, I'm boned! A half full coffee cup!

If kids want to have sex-- they are going to have sex. Although I am not a parent, I'd rather see my daughter taking an active roll in protecting herself from becoming pregnant and ruining her entire future. I would also educate her on why it is necessary to still use condoms while on birth control, for the protection…

Try something like Stevia (which is an herb, actually) or something like raw sugar (turbinado sugar). Or even agave syrup. They are all natural. The turbinado and agave will effect your blood sugar, but they aren't artificial. The Stevia shouldn't effect it, I don't think.

AIM back in the heyday of it where you could search for friends and such. I met a girl on there who I became friends with, and she knew him from school. She introduced me to him on AIM... I was 15. We will be together for 11 years this February. Married for 4.

More protein. Try out a greek yogurt (0% fat) and throw in a couple almonds. It's packed with protein, but the down side is that it doesn't have any fat, and fat sends a signal to you brain that says, "I'm satisfied". So the almonds add a little bit of fat so that you can receive that signal-- but not as much as having a…

Okay, quick suggestion. Look at the contains allergens info underneath the ingredients section. Does it say wheat? The problem with this list of ingredients is that it is not specific enough. Most times, you will see ingredients like chicken broth have sub ingredients, showing what it contains. Since this doesn't have…

For breakfast, snacks, etc, try to stick to things that are naturally gluten free. For instance, cottage cheese with pineapple or tomato, greek yogurt, celery and peanut butter, peanut butter and apple, popcorn, etc. I would suggest staying away from gluten free products as much as possible, and just focus on things that…

Hi Sam... my name is Sam! And I am totally gluten free, too! If you have a Kroger by you, check out their organic frozen food section. They have a brand of pizza crusts called Kinnikinnick that are really good. They are sort of high in calories though, about 248 cals for half a crust (which isn't a whole pizza crust, it's…

Okay, I know this is going to sound crazy, but don't eat wheat. A lot of people will likely roll their eyes, but honestly, it helps. I suggest picking up the book Wheat Belly. It describes how wheat elevates your blood sugar more than any other food (seriously, even more than white sugar). So once you eat a sandwich or a…

Wonderful! I don't think a lot of women think about their health prior to getting pregnant as much as they should. So I commend you on that! Also, what a wonderful goal! Good luck, and you can friend me if you'd like!

I didn't read everyone's responses ahead of mine, so I don't know if I'm just saying the same thing they are, so I apologize if I am. I was a vegetarian for a long time. I starting eating meat to help with weight loss, and once I've gotten to my goal, I plan on being vegan. Long story short-- you're craving B vitamins and…

HOLY CRAP! Your transformation is incredible! Truly wonderful work!

I use the Polar FT4, and I do have to wear a strap that hooks over my sternum, slightly underneath my breasts. I have the spare tire look-- so I go from pretty flat to mountainous glory with my torso. I have not had any problems with the strap in that flatter area, and I believe it to be quite accurate in terms of…

My husband uses gamefly and is really happy with it. We like to try things before buying them! :)

Totally thought about doing the Kinect one-- I have no experience with the Wii one. But if it's anything like the Dance Party game... I say don't waste your time. EA Sports is supposed to be really good though. I have a friend who really liked it.

You are GORGEOUS! Wonderful work!

WOW! You look GREAT!

Hi there! Swimming would be an excellent option because it allows you to move your whole body without putting much weight on your joints. Also, walking! At first you won't be able to go very far or do it for very long, but start out at 5 minutes and work your way up. If you have time, watch the movie Fat, Sick, and Nearly…

The study reveals that HIT training REDUCES insulin. Which is good. As glucose goes up, insulin is released. Eventually, insulin meets the same level that the glucose is at (and is supposed to) bring the glucose level back down as it goes down. However, those with type 2 diabetes are insulin RESISTANT, meaning that their…

Yep, circuit training!

I don't have it for anywhere near 3 weeks, but yes, I get this. The week before I cannot even take my supplements as they make me gag and feel really nauseous. However, when it comes to food, I turn into a monster wanting to eat everything in sight! I agree with the above poster, you should really go to the doctor.... good…

Chili! Spaghetti! Made at home freezer burritos! (http://www.veganpiggy.com/2010/06/el-cheapo-burritos-vegan-black-bean.html) You could also beef up your salad with chicken, avocado, cucumber, and tomato (my fave at work salad!). I also like homemade lunchables, with crackers (mine are gluten free), cheese, and deli meat.…
