Thanks! It's not as scary as I thought, you will be fine. I'm so glad dreams are calorie free lol.

Well done!

I agree with the suggestion JessiC made. When possible pack up your tools and take a hike into a wooded area or a small park maybe. It may not be practical all the time but would make that time all the more special. We moved last year and I only just recently found a spot for my altar, it makes me feel so much better…

I DID IT!!!!!! And then some... I have been stressing over W3D1 since I finished W2 on Sunday. Only because I didn't think I could manage 3 minutes at one go. Well I had my pre-run snack out of my Graze box and I headed out. Today the NHS chicky-babe was not messing around and we started the 5 minute warm up walk. Then on…

I changed up my goals a bit and upped my calories but I'm pretty sure it's been the weekends of wine and nibbles!

Yes, I do. I love food. I don't stress or emotion eat, I eat because I love the flavour. I love to cook and I love trying new dishes and oh did I mention I love to eat??? The thing is as long as it fits in your calorie goals, it's okay. The fact that you didn't eat the buffet and you didn't eat it all is a huge goal! You…

It took me right at 2 months to lose it. That's when I injured my knee. I did weights at the time but mostly for my arms. I do leg weights now to train muscles to compensate for my torn ligaments. The elliptical and the bike are the best machines for me at the moment, the treadmill causes me a bit of pain still. Since I do…

This can be different for everyone. Here is what i've found. I LOVE the elliptical. Before my knee injury I was doing it 4 days a week for 40 minutes each day. I burned a ton of calories and the sweat poured off of me. I lost 15 lbs. I'm slowly getting back into it since my injury and have to build up to the 40 minutes…

I bought a HRM this past week. Today I used it on my C25K run. I was using the RunKeeper app. RunKeeper said I burned 233 calories and the HRM said I burned 419. That is a huge difference! The HRM uses my age, height and weight where RunKeeper doesn't, so I am glad I got one. Definitely get one with a chest strap.

I can do the pre-run snack but no way could I eat a chicken sandwich LOL. I save my Graze punnets for snacks. I had a touch too much wine last night which may have something to do with my dragging. The football pitch I normally run at was very over run with games today so I had to run in a smaller side pitch and it's…

Today I graduated W2D3 so on Wednesday I start week 3. I was really dragging *kitten* today so I'm not sure if I can do 3 minutes! Here's hoping!!!

What a great story! I have the same crappy friend, I need to let her go.

Beating this stupid knee injury! It got me so down and depressed. I hated feeling like that. I don't want to have surgery, so I am trying everything I can to make sure that doesn't happen. I listen to the NHS podcast and often say not so nice things to the voice on the podcast, but then I always tell myself on that last…

I lived in Arlington for 12 years. Way too hot there!

Ice Cream. I love ice cream and I could eat it at every single meal. Spring, Summer, Fall or Winter I want ice cream.

That is one of my fav mantras as well, along with 'A journey of a 1,000 miles begins with 1 step.' At 5'4" with all my shortness in my legs, my stride is very sad! I've been doing a few new exercises at the gym, I do the leg press machine and the extension machines, you know the ones where you lift weights or push them…

Hello everyone! My name is Elena and I am on W2D2. I actually started C25K in early June. The day after my first run I played competitive badminton with a friend and blew out my left knee. After being bed ridden and on crutches for 8 weeks I started working my way back. I started C25K again and then I developed a viral…

I did W2D2 today! I run on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The rest of the week I go to the gym and Saturdays in my whole day off. I'm worried about Day 3 on Sunday, I was really dragging today, I hope that I will be ready to go on to W3. Let me know how your run goes, good luck!

Merry Meet! Solitary Wiccan here, I practise for hearth and home so basically a Kitchen Witch. I'm so glad to find this group. I have been with MFP since March when I decided that I just had enough. I was doing really well until I suffered a nasty knee injury in June. I am finally getting back to where I was and I have…

I work from home but I shower every day. I shower before going to the gym (yes I know I know) then when I get back I shower again. On the days that I don't go to the gym but run, I run first then shower. Even on our pajama days, I shower then put on clean pj's. The water doesn't get wasted, it gets recycled at the water…

This is always one of the best NSV's I think. Well done!

Absolutely amazing! You are a true inspiration. I hope that your recovery is swift and pain free, keep working on the social bits, you'll get there! I have a friend who is travelling down the wrong path and is exhibiting these phobias, I am going to pass your story on to him. Well done.
