I have a lovely new bike so I do love riding it outside rather than the bike at the gym. We have a dreadmill...errr treadmill at home and I run on it because, well frankly, I can trip over ANYTHING. My feet and my brain are on some sort of disconnect. When hubby and I are walking and I just stumble, he looks back and I…

You look awesome! If that is the same underwear in both pics, just look at the difference in how they fit. In the first pic they are stretched and you can't tell it's a lace waistband, you can def tell in the last one. Well done and congrats!

It is a Nike ad. We didn't get any commercials during the Olympics here in the UK. I love it, the closer he gets the better it gets. :flowerforyou:

I take Fibre Force from Holland and Barrett (UK) every evening with dinner. I was having issues where it was once a week and I was really uncomfortable. This has worked and I've been taking it for over a month now. This is what's in it Pysllium Seed Husk (seed) 666.6mg Apple Pectin (fruit) 5mg Lactobacillus…

Wow, thanks everyone for so much info! I love it. There is a lot to take in and process. I thought about shoes and clips but I'm a bit of panic cycler at the moment. Oh to have that sense of no fear I had as a kid! I lived on my bike, even when I went roller skating and took my bike to the rink, I rode with skates on. Zoom…

When we lived in Colorado both hubby and I had a Jeep. I had a '99 Jeep Cherokee Sport and Hubby had a 2002 Jeep Wrangler Soft Top. Since we've been living in the UK we haven't had a car. When we do decide to buy a vehicle, it will be a Jeep.

I'm not the brightest frog in the pond LOL. Once I get used to riding and do it more often I can see splashing a bit more cash. I got mine on sale for £67. I saw some nice hybrids for a little bit more, I think that may be a good option. Thanks for all the info. it's really helped.

I have an very unspecialised Reebok bike. It is a 21 gear mtn bike with front shocks. I want to do trail riding one day. I know it's not the best for road riding but as this was a first bike in 20 years I had to go with basics and value. I have considered getting a camelback. It doesn't get too hot here in the UK so far a…

No. Yes? Maybe Stop judging me!

AzhureSnow-yeah I didn't clarify that bit. I'm road riding. I have areas that are slight inclines and flat areas and a few harder inclines. nikmarucut- I find that when I was biking at the gym I just watched the time, so having an end point is probably a good idea. I am not sure about all my gears yet, I've found one that…

This def looks like a doable schedule. My surgeon said running and biking are my best options as long as I am comfortable. I have a gym membership but it is currently under refurbishment till September when I can start adding in a bit of swimming and weight training. Thanks for the info. Once I complete all my Zombie…

Just check the websites of the places you may go to. Prezzo offers light options for their menu items and J D Wetherspoon pubs have a large selection of 700 cals or less items.

I'm going on nearly 3 weeks with no loss. I've changed things up though, my gym is doing a refurb and I haven't been able to go. However I've been running more and started cycling. I'm burning fewer calories than I did at the gym. I'm hoping that my body catches up to whats changed and starts losing again :( It's…

We only get pumpkin once a year in the UK. So I buy 2, gut them, roast the seeds, cut the flesh and cook it. If you cube it large enough it's easy to peel it after it's soft. I then mash it and portion it out and freeze it. It's also good if your dog has an upset tummy or is constipated. I just feed it to them on a spoon…

I wish it was only 2- 10 tbs. On days 2,3 and 4 I am in the bathroom every 45 min. I don't sleep for 2 nights. During that time I go through about 50 products. I'd give anything to have cramps for only an hour, you are very fortunate. I don't go to the gym on those days, I use the treadmill at home but for half the time.…

Pain does really affect your moods. Chronic pain can be very depressing and make you very angry. However that is no excuse for being cruel, especially to your children. Don't take it to heart, easier said than done I know, but keep up the hard work. You want to do this for you, not for her. Good luck!

Hubby and our neighbour are going tonight. I'm curling up with a glass of wine and my kindle. I'll wait till it's out on video :)

What an amazing transformation! You look fabbytastic :) well done!

I wanted none and have 2. They are grown up and out on their own. It's great to be in our early 40's with an empty nest...except for the dogs and cats...

Tomorrow, July 19th will be my 3 year anniversary. Quitting was the best thing I've done! I used Champix to do it. Even after watching my Mother die of lung cancer it took me another 3 years to say I was ready. No one else smoked and I absolutely did not smoke in the house. We moved a few months later which actually helped…

Oh this so makes me happy that I am self employed and my co-workers consist of 3 dogs and 2 cats! I hope I never have to work in an office environment again.
