  • This is a big problem area for me. If its a potluck event or at someones home I always bring a health dish I know I can eat guilt free. If it's out at a restaurtant. I try to stay away from the bread basket (one I start I can NOT stop). I order a side salad with an oil based dressing or a broth based soup. Drink lots of…
  • Sometimes after my workouts when I have to up my calorie intake I drink chocolate milk too. I use skim milk and dark chocolate syrup. Yummy!!!!
  • I was able to get down to one cup a day by tricking myself...I drink hot water out of my travel mug. When I get to work I have one 8 ounce cup of coffee with one packet of splenda and one teaspoon of powdered cream. It took me a long time to cut back but, I started by just drinking a hot cup of water every time I wanted a…
  • We do date nights in and we cook a nice home cooked meal. Spread a blanket either in the living room or out doors. We set up candles & have some wine. We sit and talk. If we are inside we dim the lights & put the radio on in the back gorund. This allows us to reconnect in our busy lives. Have fun!!
  • I am 5'2" although I do tell everyone I am 5'3" - every inch counts  Feel free to add me as a friend.
  • Maybe sit down & talk to him about it. My husband is a total junk food freak. The unhealthier the better to him...lol!! My husband would eat my healthy dinners but, after dinner he would eat cookies, chips & ice cream because he was starving. Truth was he wasn't starving and his weight started to climb. He realized that…

  • Shop sales, clip coupons and stock up when you can. I shop at Aldi's and love them. They have allowed me to cute my grocery bill in half. I use frozen veggies because you tend to be able to pick them up pretty cheap (on sale & stuff) they are great alone or part of another dish. I also, keep any left over veggies I have…

  • I am faced with this same problem. Rushed mornings with a toddler and an early morning get out the door time...I often find myself eating breakfast in the car. • I followed the C25K program. I loved it and now I look forward to jogging. It was a battle that I struggled until my treadmill broke. It forced me to follow the program outside. I found that my passion was in jogging outdoors. The fresh air and open space allowed me to clear my mind. After I feel like a million dollars.…

  • You have a very kind heart. The world would be a much better place if everyone just did one random act of kindness a week (although one a day would be better). I have been on the receiving end of a random act of kindness. It touched my heart with so much joy. I have never forgotten this act and am always doing random acts…
