  • You can lose weight without working out but you'll just be a skinnier version of your shape now. In order to really change your body shape you will need to workout. Also working out will give you more energy, it will take a week or two to catch up but its totally worth it!
  • Can you open your diary?
  • Its important to eat all of your calories, but at a higher starting weigh you will have more to eat. Try to chose higher calorie foods (I know, seems silly) but healthy ones.. think nuts, good oils, avocado... those will take up a lot of calories without huge volumes. IF you can't do it, eat until you are full but not…
  • Just because you take a day off doesn't mean you do nothing at all. Walk can be "active recovery".. you're fine.
  • All scales will vary, pick one and stick with it, the differences will make you nuts. I hate the scales at the doctor's office, they always weigh me heavy but then I have clothes/shoes on too.
  • A plateau is no weight loss over several week period. If you aren't losing, change something up... try doing some extra exercise or eat a little bit less. Eat less sodium, drink more water, Sometimes you have to try a bunch of things to find out what really works. I hve found if I don't eat late at night it works better…
  • are you losing the way you want to? If yes, then don't worry about it, if no then perhaps change something. I don't know how you only eat 950cals and aren't starving all the time. Remember you body needs calories to keep running all the necessary functions. Why starve yourself if you don't have to.
  • Thin is so difficult to define, what is thin to one is not thin to another. If you want to change your shape you want to focus on lifting weights, don't worry about bulking up it will help resize you. A pound of muscle takes up less space than a pound of fat. Noone can answer this question for you because your thin is not…
  • You will find varying answers on this. Fruit sugar is obviously not as bad as processed white sugar but its still high in sugar and if you are close to goal this may affect you. I've started choosing "lower sugar" fruit options such as berries. Its a personal choice. Some people say all sugar is bad, some say its offset by…
  • Just sent a friend request. I just did my first half on Saturday. You can totally do this. Just remember, long distance running can increase your appetite so be sure to choose proteins and good carbs to keep you full and fuel those workouts!
  • Totally a personal choice. I weigh in everyday, right after I wake up and go to the bathroom. Some people find weighing every day makes them crazy. For me it keeps me on track everyday. If I don't I tend to think I'm thinner than I am.. its whatever works for you withouth making you obsessed. I've heard of people weighing…
  • Protein is great to take after a workout. What you call it (lunch or post workout snack) depends on you... your calorie intake, how many calories the shake is and how frequently you eat.
  • As long as you are consistent with what you do your losses will show up each week. If you weigh in every week after drinking two glasses of water and wearing clothes than that is equal both weeks.. any change will still show. Just pick what works best for you and stick with it :)
  • Sometimes it just takes some time for your body to catch up. Give it some time, drink plenty of water. Weight loss is not often a straight line, you can lose nothing for days and then all of a sudden 2lbs will be gone.
  • Set a goal, write it down, be specific and then write down 20things you could do to get to that goal. At the top of the page write "How can I lose Xlbs by Y date" then answer 20 times. Force yourself to come up with 20 no matter how hard it is. I like the idea of looking at success stories. Make a list of reasons you want…
  • Firstly, congrats on 60lbs that's huge! Try mixing things up a little.. add in some weight training, change up your cardio and do intervals instead of steady state. Try changing your calories, eat a little more and see if that helps. Mix it up a little.
  • It will take a couple of weeks but your body will adjust. In the meantime don't let "i'm tired" make you reach for sugar and caffeine. Drinks lots of water and eat at regular intervals so you don't get too hungry/tired. Get as much sleep as you can and keep up the hard work.
  • Firsty, congratulations on everything you've done. That accomplishment is huge! Next, is the last 10lbs really worth it to you to make yourself crazy over? Is so okay, then stay where you are. Just because you're done, doesn't mean you go back to where you were. If you do want to lose the last ten pounds then really clean…
  • Choose healthy foods.... lean proteins, fruits, veggies and whole grains. Stay away from processed food.. eat every couple of hours and drink plenty of water. Let your clothes/body be your guide so you don't get obsessive.... make it about being healthy not about a number on the scale.
  • Firstly, congratulations on your weight loss, that's huge!! Secondly, you've got alot on your plate so give yourself some slack. Perhaps just commit to 10mins a day of some type of exercise, walking, whatever. Take it one day, one meal, one moment at a time. Use that vaca as a great motivator.. put up a picture of a…
  • I don't know of any websites but many healthy magazines have meal planning suggestions, you could go to the bookstore and just look without actually buying the magazine.
  • Oh and one more thing.. I eat every 3-4 hours so that I never get too hungry. Choose foods high in volume and protein to keep you satisfied longer. I plan my entire day out in the morning so I know exactly what i'm eating for the day, leaving no room for "what do I want?"
  • Make a list of reasons why you want to lose weight. As you get better and lose weight these things will start to sound less appealing to you. Distract yourself when a craving hits. Say "i'm going to go do something else for 30mins, 2 hours.. whatever, if I still want the food at the end then I can have some" but you have…
  • Get some body glide.. comes in a stick like deodorant. Helps prevent chafing.
  • I'm sorry but did anyone else laugh at salmon nuts?? its amazing how a little grammar changes a sentence. I'm not judging, it just made me laugh :)
  • Your net calories are what your body has to live on after you've expended calories for exercising. So if you eat 1200 but burn 800, your body only has 400 calories on which to perform the rest of its daily functions. Ususally when people don't eat back their exercise calories, they are setting their daily calories higher…
  • Clear skin is a combination of things.... lots of water, fresh fruits, vegetables, exercise, sleep and a good skin care routine. I use a scrub with salicylic acid in it for blackheads/acne. If I eat a lot of junk/chips/chocolate then I break out. Dark skin pigmentation, there are products on the marketplace that can help…
  • Hungry-girl.com has a lot of recipes with these noodles along with detailed instructions on how to prepare them so they are more paletable!
  • There are five or six recipes on this site http://www.heandsheeatclean.com/p/the-recipes.html
  • Use the tomatos in a tomato salad.. vinagrette dressing , perhaps slice some red onion also.. YUM!! Watermelon.. you can put in in a blender with a ltitle water and make juice... or just cut it up and store it in the fridge. You can eat a ton for few calories.
