Clearly you just need to get strong enough that you can challenge these wife-oogling gents to a duel. Does your state allow mutual combat? Plus these duels will be an excellent way for you to incorporate a little more cardio into your routine.

I am kind of obsessed with the fashion blog Kendi Everyday: http://www.kendieveryday.com/ I have made many a clothing/shoe/accessory purchase based on inspiration I found in one of her outfits. Also, H&M is great! Don't be afraid to wander to the men's side, either - I've found some awesome button-ups and sweaters over…

My gym offers a powerlifting class... I'm the only girl in that one

Yeah, why don't you just get whatever YOU like? If you really want a floral, then do it.

I wouldn't worry too much, it's only been 2 weeks. Unfortunately losing weight the healthy way takes time and a lot of patience. Also, if you went from little/no exercise to 5 days/week your body is going to need some time to adjust. I'd honestly up your calories a bit and put the scale away for a while. Start taking body…

I think it's a really good starting place. In my experience I would definitely agree that it's a bit of trial and error to find your own sweet spot, and over the years I've tried a wide range of caloric goals. My success number isn't exactly TDEE-20%, but it's pretty darn close. Had I just used that recommendation in the…

There is good info here, too: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/654536-in-place-of-a-road-map-2-0-revised-7-2-12

I usually eat dinner between 9 and 10pm after the gym. No issues whatsoever. Just make sure you're within your calorie/macro goals and you should be fine.

We love our memory foam mattress. Not a Tempur-Pedic, but we went with a local company that makes them to order so we were able to swap out the denser base layers of foam with softer stuff and add 2 more inches of soft squishy foam on top. It's kind of amazing.

I'm not doing SL, but I am taking a powerlifting class. On the days we have class we focus on the main lift for that day and then do 2-4 accessory exercises. So, on Monday we do squats, then 2-4 bicep and shoulder exercises, Wednesday bench with triceps, and Friday deadlift with back. Lots of variation in all of it, too.…

That's how I know my coffee is working.

Now I want a cookie.

I'm eating at a deficit while lifting and am noticing a pleasant transformation to my derriere through (as everyone has mentioned) squats and deadlifts.

Came back because I found a pic! It's older, but not too far off from where I'm at now. Except for the tan. Definitely don't have the tan. (cropped to remove the innocent)

If you like coffee, drink it and log it. If you don't, then don't.

I don't actually remember the last time I ate a Pop-Tart... Now I want one.

A lot of great info has been given here, but I would add that incorporating some strength training could also help. My pace and endurance didn't start to increase (running 4x/week) until I started lifting. Now I'm much faster and only run 1-2x/week.

I certainly didn't expect to see such OLD junk.

Agreed. I don't need to hear sloppy tongue aerobics when I'm trying to check myself out in the mirror.

Love the cold! I'm even starting to get good at dodging the icy spots.

This is like my worst nightmare come true, but boy do I love a good poop story. :flowerforyou:

This. I frequent the same small grocery store (where I recognize all of the employees) and it's usually on my way home from the gym... just me, sweaty, picking up bananas and beer at least once a week.
