I take a powerlifting class, and on deadlift days we do 2-4 accessory exercises (after the main lift) that are primarily focused on hams, glutes, and back. It varies, but we'll do things like lunges, box jumps, leg extensions, leg curls, ham/glute raises, lat pull-downs, DB rows, reverse hypers, etc.

That's an awesome NSV! Congrats!! And high fives for lifting.

Sorry, just now seeing this. I do squats Monday, bench Wednesday, and deadlift on Fridays. I also do coordinating accessory work on all of those days. I run on Thursdays and Saturdays (usually) and take 2 rest days/week. No real issues with leg fatigue. I know it's different for everyone, but for me this has been great.…

Leave it as is. I generally don't log any normal everyday activities because I did those same things when I gained weight, so I doubt they have any sort of extra magical calorie burn now that I'm tracking.

Shoes... and I end up spending the most on boots (I'm in Oregon so we can pretty much wear boots year-round).

I really like this too. My normal everyday look is some cream color on the lids, eyeliner (usually upper lid only), and mascara with my trusty cherry chapstick. I definitely need to play around more with lip color. I really like the simplicity of this makeup:

I usually just wipe off any pee/water/pubes on the seat and then it's ready for business!

I'm training for a half marathon as well and I lift 3 days/week. Thus far, its only done positive things for my running.

1. You aren't eating enough... netting less than 900 cals a day isn't doing you any favors. 2. With only 20lbs to lose, you should set your MFP loss to about 0.5lb/week 3. It's only been 4 weeks... you have to to give it time. This shouldn't be a race, it should be about adopting a healthy lifestyle that is sustainable.

I had a brand new coworker and we shared a VERY small office... it was late in the day, I was totally into what I was working on, and forgot there was another person in this room I was used to being alone in. I mean, I went for the cheek lift and everything - no sense in letting it get stifled in crappy office chair foam.…

Actually, healthy adult kidneys can filter ~32oz of water every hour, so her 128oz consumption throughout the day is just fine.

As someone mentioned earlier, Nerd Fitness has a good beginner body weight routine! http://www.nerdfitness.com/blog/2009/12/09/beginner-body-weight-workout-burn-fat-build-muscle/

Oooh, I will have to check this out! I curl my hair every day (a la flat iron) but don't currently use any product.

Apparently I need to start watching the Tudors...

Thank you for all of the feedback! I really appreciate it. My squats are terrible (but improving!) because I don't have the stabilizing strength yet to be able to get low enough and keep my knees out. However, a wider stance has helped a lot there as well. That being said, I was also having trouble in conventional dead…

If you haven't yet, I would head to a local running store and get fitted for proper shoes. It really can make all the difference! That being said, I personally like minimal running shoes and the Nike Free Runs are one of my favorites... although right now I'm sporting the Brooks Pure line.

Oh yeah... and I sweat a lot. For running I had to switch from a basic ponytail to a bun because the ponytail would be literally be dripping sweat down my back and then swishing it around. I know, I'm pretty much super sexy when I workout.

I broke my PR last Friday and did 225lbs x 3!

I do this one frequently, but flat on the floor. It's become my new favorite stretch!
-
This is great! I get the most comments on my crazy bench face, but sadly don't have any pics... clearly, I need to change that.

They put caffeine in face creams to help firm up the skin, so maybe this would help firm up the *kitten*?
-
I always stretch afterward while I'm at the gym and I try to foam roll at least once per week.
-
Yes! I love this idea!

I drink about a gallon of water per day. Initially I was making trips to the bathroom all the time, but now it's far less frequent (and less annoying).

Nope, not gimmicky enough. It can't possibly be true.

I'm a 34DD and buy Old Navy sports bras in a size medium. I don't have any comfort issues and everything stays where it should... for $10.

I have found that unless people are mentally ready to commit and make the change for themselves, it's not going to happen. But, you can certainly set a good example and share what you learn as you go.
