RE: Arnold...YES! I have the book...it's amazing and works. But I get what you are saying, would just leave Arnold out.

I love Tom Hiddleston...That is all...

Thanks everyone for sharing... I have to say, all of those mentioned are pretty awesome...if I were to choose a girl, it would have to be the Black Widow because a)she's an Avenger, and b)she is AMAZING in the Winter Soldier...

Agree with OP. The grass ain't always greener...I think with those types of surgeries, the person who actually loses the weight has not addressed the reason they got to that place in the first place and without taking control over that, weight loss is only treating the symptom and not so much the cause. IMHO. I feel sad…

If you are having this as a meal...maybe add some protein to the mix? I doubt this would sustain you as a meal, a snack, ok, but a meal??
-
YUM!!! I'm totally trying this.

MuscleTech Phase 8 Myofusion elite I actually love protein bars like Quest because I'm always running...figuratively and literally... ;)

I've never had one like that, but yes, I've had moments that are lined up on the "wall of shame" in my life. My advice is to apologize for throwing a hissy fit (because really, that's what it is) and carry on, while trying to determine the triggers to avoid future episodes. For me, when I get my daily does of exercise,…

MuscleTech Phase 8 chocolate Myofusion elite chocolate Muscle Pharm chocolate... see where I'm going with this? LOL I'm a protein shake/bar junkie. I love the simply and simply whey bars as snacks but eat Quest bars for real protein intake on the run. (which is always for me) ETA: I also use the powders to make protein…

Well put...I also get most of my carbs from fruits and veggies...when I don't, I bloat, gain and feel sluggish. I do indulge when I want to and I am still seeing NSV on a regular basis as well as losing inches and changing my muscle definition.

I did not lose one pound while nursing, I was the complete opposite of what everyone told me. I'm very interested in the responses you will get, even if it's too late for me. Congrats on the twins! Mom to twins should be categorized as superhero status, IMO. Cheers!

^^^This too... hugs are good.

BOOM! Good analogy. Some people take offense to everything. Don't worry about it. You took control over something that was having a very negative impact in your life, girl. congrats and keep it up, you are going to get this and acheive your goals. Nevermind the naysayers and trolls.
-
First of all, congrats on your amazing success! WOW! What a difference a year makes. My opinion is that you look great!
-
I'm very curious about the responses you will get. I run and lift (I do sprints, short and long distances and lift pretty heavy - for a girl  ). I never have the same soreness from running as I do from lifting, ever.
-
Congrats! What a great success story! Thanks for posting. You are truly inspiring. :flowerforyou:

^^^ This. For the long run caloric burns and for the BBQ and beers... :drinker:

I eat 6 meals per day but log my mini-meals as snacks. I actually think it is best to do it this way, not just to trick our body but for continuous metabolic function...NOTE: I'm not a doctor, it has just worked best for me than three square meals/day. Also, as the mother of 2 children, most of my meals are split between…

Sorry you are dealing with this. It must really not be easy. I will say, what stuck out in your story is that she was critical when you were overweight, and she is critical when you are achieving great success. I don't think she will ever be "supportive", from what you wrote she seems rather negative all-around. I guess…

I did a double-take when I saw your ticker... uh, hello superhero...amazing, inspiring, awesome. Just WOW!! :)
-
Maybe see a doctor? Could be more to it than just eating habits. Not sure if I can be super helpful, but how about lots of healthy fats...nuts, coconut oil...what about protein shakes or Boost-type supplements? I hope it comes together and you can both be healthy and happy weight-and-otherwise.
-
This is GREAT news! Congrats! YOU did it!

Butt...meet my foot!! *kicks butt* Feel free to add me! Cheers and welcome to the journey!!
-
Wow!! Excellent progress. Definition is definitely coming in nicely. I think you've done fabulously and look great.

:flowerforyou: You are beautiful, amazing, inspiring and I want to be your friend. Most important though: Your SuperMan/SuperWoman dress is the cat's meow...where can I get me one of those... You've got EVERYTHING it takes to be successful for LIFE and I am so very happy you shared your fitiversary (stealing that word BTW)…

One McD's burger and fries combo once in a while will not kill you (unless severe allergies are present - for what? who knows, just putting it out there because there is bound to be someone chiming in with that reason - solution is still obv though - don't eat it). I'm a busy mom. I have two children. We eat McD's on…

this is really simply put, well said! That's what I do. I have 1400 net calories per day. I usually burn an average of 300 working out so I actually EAT 1700 cals but since I burn 300 of those, I net my 1400 (roughly...I'm not married to my numbers... lol) warning: any mention of starvation, clean eating, "bro science"…
-
If you can wade through the negative, you will find awesome support here! If clean eating (whatever you believe that to be) is how you wish to achieve your goals, go for it!! for some reason clean eating is like a taboo word on these forums...I brought my opinion in on clean eating a year ago and I'm not going there again.…

WOW! Amazing, just amazing! Thank you for sharing your success, you are inspiring and motivating!! :drinker:
