Daily weigher...I need to quit doing that! So here's the daily ritual: 1-wake up 2-potty 3-coffee 4-coffee 5-change clothes 6-exercise 7-potty 8-strip 9-brush teeth 9a-ceremonial scale placing on the tile floor 9b-guess my weight 10-weigh 11-cheer or sigh 12-shower I'm pathetic, as if brushing my teeth before a weigh in is…

Before I started an exercise program, I logged everything that increased my heart rate. So the day that I walked to the copy machine 40 steps every 5 minutes for 2 hours straight, I logged it. The day I went from the 3rd floor to the 2nd floor (stairs) 5 times in 4 hours, I logged that too. I don't really log it in now,…

I forgot about the best one. One of my former sisters-in-law was eating a piece of strawberry pie with whipped cream topping and said, "I can eat this. I'm not fat." I should have realized how much better my life would have been if I had ditched that family at that point, because my ex laughed at that comment while looking…

Actually, during an interview a guy was looking up and down at me and said "There's no way YOU could sit on a plane for 20 hours.". The ex-husband, after the split said (among other things).."You are losing too much weight and I'm concerned. Why couldn't you lose weight when we were married." I said, "The stress of being…

I know that my cousin is way more healthier than I am. I've yo-yo'd my whole life from a size 8 to a size 24. She's stayed about about an 18. Where I've had knee and joint issues, she bounces around without pain. Her heart rate is good, cholesterol is good..maybe there is something to the stability.

I just spent a lot of time writing down the things I liked, tolerate and hated, and pieced them together. Also, Special K makes a lot of good snack items... I log every day no matter what.

.5 pounds...that was it!

Nope--offices are closed today and Monday...Happy to be off, but since I'm contract--not happy to be missing the hours!

Christmas Ham, scalloped potatoes, peanut butter fudge, pie (does it really matter what kind), Cola not diet, ice cream Blue Bell, almond roca.... OOPS---I need to go shopping and besides, I'm getting hand weights and an exercise mat for Christmas and I certainly wouldn't want that to go to waste right???

And don't you just love the new you! I so love the new me...and I'm going to have to go shopping in about a month when the size 14's are too baggy...and they are getting a bit baggy right now.....:flowerforyou:

Every day...It's a habit and it keeps me on the straight and narrow path to a healthier lifestyle... (okay, I'm really obsessed with what the scales are telling me--that I'm doing a good job or I need to work a little harder)

One of my sons and daughters had this too. I kept Popsicles and pedilite (sp) in the house until they were 8. The doctor told me it's something they outgrow (after physical exams 4 times a year). The best he could tell me was there was something that they could be a little allergic to that we used in the house, but over…

When the scales are on an upward climb, I try to drink 1 glass of water for every 20 pounds I weigh for a couple of days and NOT weigh. After that, the scales should be back to normal. The other thing (this happened to me) it could be is that your scales might be out of whack. I replaced mine with a "heavier duty" type and…

20-30 minutes during the work week and I try for one day of rest and one day of 60 minutes on the weekend. This weekend I'm having to rest on Saturday (sad face) and maybe get in 20-30 minutes tomorrow. I guess over doing it would depend on the person's goals. If I was trying to get into marathon or "K" running, I'm sure…

Here's what I've learned about me... My mind feels clearer when I exercise. Popcorn makes me feel just as good as chocolate and cake. Fruit is sweeter than candy. I'm eating more food more times a day than I used to, and it's better for me. Everyone is different. I watch the scale every day, knowing that daily fluctuation…

I'm going to need to watch...because now my left knee is telling me that exercise is not beneficial to its health!

I so miss Minnesota Fall and Winter...Lived in Burnsville for a couple of years (before the ground was broken for the Mall of America)...the year I was pregnant there was a mega flood and a super snow storm (1987). I've done some losing...but have about the same to go...feel free to add me as a friend and we'll get there…

Not really liking the no baking, the no Christmas lunches with dessert, the no whipped something something from Starbucks or excitement of "Do they have the fondant Christmas Cookies this year?" Really excited about the OMG size 14 and the oops that doesn't fit anymore, and the wow I can walk up and down the stairs without…

I would like to lose the cleavage and the curves...my ideal weight for small frame 5'5" is about 130 at my age...and I'll take it...

Nope and all the better for it. My reprieve from civil behavior was about 6 years ago when my son cut ties.

I chose the middle of my healthy weight on the BMI scale.
