  • Looks like we'll be doing the Little Black Dress challenge- a combo of core, arm and leg work. Any takers?
  • Right now the two challenges are tied, so we might do both. A great addition to your regular workout :)
  • Don't be afraid to try T25 a couple more times before you totally dismiss it! I know what you mean- some of the moves are pretty fast, it can take a little bit to get used to them. But believe me, after a week or two you'll be a pro! I'm glad you found a program you're into (CLX), maybe do that and preview the T25 videos…
  • I love HIIT workouts too, and it seems like a great idea to do them everyday (especially because of the time factor!). Everyday can be a bit much though, because it can lead to injury. There are usually a lot of high impact moves so you don't want to over do it! Maybe try every other day, or a specifically designed…
  • I'm definitely motivated by surrounding myself with like minded people. So being on MFP certainly helps! When I hear about others pushing themselves or reaching new goals it makes me work harder. I'm on Facebook a lot more per day than MFP so I make sure to "like" a lot of fitness pages. I also run a motivation group, and…
  • If you're throwing T25 into the mix, I'd say choose P90X3 over that. It's more intense, and there's more strength training involved. Insanity is going to be more intense than those two, but it's a bigger time commitment (P90X3 is only 30 minutes, T25 obviously 25 mins). I agree with the comment above- go for P90X3 and then…
  • BBL has great results, but T25 is shorter and more intense. Don't worry about it being too rough, there are modifications for all the moves until you get stronger. An awesome new one (and more affordable than T25) is 21 Day Fix. 30 minute workouts, plus a portion control system to really help you with the nutrition aspect.…
  • I just started 21 Day Fix. The workouts are only 30 mins and awesome! There is a lady that modifies every move, plus they show ways to do things more advanced, so it's great for any fitness level.
  • A consistent, mapped out program will definitely help you slim down and keep you consistent in your workouts. I'd recommend T25, Insanity or Turbo Fire- both have cardio plus some resistance training, and include nutrition guides as well. Send me a message, I can tell you more. You can definitely make big changes by April!
  • I've really enjoyed T25. It seems simple- only 25 minutes, the moves don't look too complicated... but then you start and you realize it's an intense 25 minutes, no breaks! Plus, you really can't convince yourself NOT to pop in the DVD, since it's only 25 minutes. Message me if you have any questions about the workouts!

  • It definitely delivers results! But like everyone else already mentioned, it's really intense, and basically, you get back what you put in. It's an amazing program though, and Shaun T is a great and motivating trainer. If Insanity is too much for you to start with, you could try his other program, T25 and then build your…
  • Blogilates and The Daily HIIT
  • Adding you now!
  • I'm definitely here to support! Sending you a FR. You seem very motivated already, keep it up!
  • Definite inches lost, especially because there is strength and core training in addition to cardio. Very good for tightening up, which won't necessarily move the number on the scale, but will help you lose inches. I just got a little bored with the program because there were only 3 different workouts. I needed more…
  • I've done several different programs. Here's what I think: 30 Day Shred- love the workouts, short but intense. I got bored quickly though, as there are only 3 workouts. Insanity- Yes, the name is absolutely correct! Amazing workouts, tough but you see results, especially when you record your stats on the fit test. Don't do…

  • There are great daily free workouts on www.thedailyhiit.com They are very short but very intense. Search for the "HIIT Lite" workouts to get you started, then progress to the harder ones. There's a new program coming out too called the 21 Day Fix. 30 minute workouts, plus it helps you with portions and cleaner eating with…

  • I've found Insanity and Turbo Fire are more intense than 30 Day Shred (I own all three). Of those two, Insanity is more "athletic" where TF is a combo of athletic and "dancey" moves. And the music in TF is awesome. Any one of them though is going to help you lose the weight. Good luck on your journey! Message me if you…
  • Turbo Fire is awesome. I've never done Turbo Jam, but TF is definitely more intense. I especially like the HIIT workouts that are incorporated into the program. They can really push you. The only bad comments I've ever heard about the program is from people not familiar with the moves. If you've never done one of the…
  • I agree it would be too much on your body to follow both schedules at the same time. There are some great hybrid calendars online that can help you mix them together. Just google Insanity T25 hybrid and you'll get some options. Message me if you have any questions about either program.
  • I agree with all of the above! I have both, and Insanity is much more intense. The time commitment is greater as well. I think you'd be better off starting with T25 and graduating to Insanity if you want to continue on. And don't worry, you will still work hard even though it's only 25 minutes. Both programs are awesome…
  • You've made great progress, congrats! When I'm feeling unmotivated or in a rut, I like to mix things up. Try a different class at the gym or treat yourself to a new workout DVD. Having something new to look forward to or be excited about might help!
  • Congratulations! That is awesome progress!!! Good luck with your goal. Feel free to add me.
  • Thanks! I needed some new workout music ideas!
  • I'm so sorry that you feel like you don't have support! You have to just keep in mind that you are doing this for YOU and not for them! This is a great place to start here on My FP because you can get the support and motivation you need! Just reading through the message boards and seeing what others are doing can get you…
