I am the same as apaden4. Lost 9 pounds in 4 weeks, hit a plateau. But I think my metabolism is kicking up again. I have 13 to go.

I would try to stay away from big meals too. Your stomach expands and it is hard to get out of the hungery feeling when your stomach is big and empty. I don't eat any big meals - which was hard at first. But now I feel full quite easily. I have a hard time eating enough.

Yeah, I haven't moved the scale much in the past two weeks. That's not very rewarding. Finally today I went down about 1/2 a pound. So I hope I am off the slump. Hang in there Healthier - you'll make it!

I'm always over my protein - my fitness trainer tells me that for weight loss that is a good thing. For me it has worked fine so far!

And eat breakfast!!! Your metabolism doesn't kick into "burn" mode until you have eaten something. Just eat something to start your day. There are many days I have to force myself too, but it works.

** double sigh ** regarding breakfast - I sometimes am not even hungry in the morning. Actually that is probably most mornings. I do keep a box of Special K and some skim milk at work. I oftentimes eat breakfast without wanting too. But it works!

I do my situps on a balance ball and it helps reduce the strain on my lower back and hips. There are a lot of yoga positions that are good for abs.
