any sugar based treat - jelly babies, snakes, skittles, toffee etc. I'm a chocolate girl. After quick skim back, I'll add beer and wine to that list too.

Hey! I'm Tasmanian, 39 and had 6 kids! I'm in Launceston. :D

thanks for the input ladies. Most reassuring. :)

Its me again! (I can't edit the original post) I've gotten to the target weight I set for myself this time last year, plus 2 extra, and now I am about to start work on the next stage (whether that is 10 or 20 kilos remains to be seen - though 15 sounds good). I took Winter 'off' (without gaining!) and come tomorrow I plan…

I'm 5'2" and I prefer guys at least 5" taller than me. I friend of mine is 6'5" and he is TOO tall for me...I hug his waist! and he has to almost fold in half to hug me properly. As someone else said, I like to look up to a man. There is that whole submissive feel about it for *me* - its psychological, but I like to feel…

sacrilege! crumpets have butter! (or vegemite if you are feeling magnanimous) Sausages seem to be getting very expensive calorie wise. 20 years ago the 'average' sausage was 115 cals. I've seen some newer store branded (not the fancy lamb and feta types) ones going for 222 EACH. I thought that was per serve and a serve was…

Well done you.

I don't worry over much about my sugar - but too much sugar makes me cramp up, gain weight (probably water) and my eyes swell, so I avoid it. What I find MOST beneficial is translating the amount of sugar on labels into (approximate) teaspoons. A random selection from the pantry is: Peanut butter - per serve - 1.6gm…

I think I will have a dedicated 'clothes trying on' day, when its nice and sunny so there are no artificial lights, and have a good old look at how EVERYTHING fits *now.* None of this trying things on and thinking I look swish with 10 inches of extra fabric. I might not have much left at the end of it all though :noway:

tell you what. if you give ME $79.95, I will give you a generic child proof bottle with 25 funny looking green pills that are guaranteed to work! (as long as you also follow the additional diet plan involving sensible eating and exercise!) For an extra $50.35 you can get an extra TWO WEEKS supply and a bonus membership!…

I got both of mine from Kmart. A Triumph 'TriAction' and a Hestia, both in a 16DD, at about $29 and $19 respectively. 20 kilos ago the Hestia one fitted better overall, but it has padding (like t-shirt bras) with two hooks and wider straps. Nowdays the Triumph one fits better - better cup stretchiness - this has three…

I *think* the 'fat free pudding mix' is the powdered stuff we mix with milk and it makes a mousse. In my supermarkets it is with the custard powder and jelly crystals. I think the normal one is White Wings, and there is a Weight Watchers one. Cool whip..no clue.

not so much for *today* as the last week, but: I've been helping with a rental property clean up, involving a home built shed dismantling and removal, moving sleepers, rocks and the indoor stuff for a 3br house (walls, windows etc). The victory? While I've been buggered at night, I have been raring to go the next day, and…

excellent advice all round, but this one was interesting. My sister was visiting, and we went to the op shop. While there she was trying to convince me that buying clothes that were too big would make me look all 'waif like.' I had a hard time not informing her that I haven't come this far to look like a vagrant! O.o

Here in Tasmania, Australia the average price per kilo for apples (and we are the "Apple Isle" so they shouldn't be imported) is...4$ per kilo (2$ a lb). That is about 6 apples. Cherries were 13$ a kilo. Ok bananas are on special for 89c a kilo (45c a lb). But there is no way I'd say our fruit is CHEAP. Nor are vegetables.…

I don't get overly hungry at ttotm - my digestive system seems to slow down...but the day it ends and or the day after I usually have gut eating hunger pains.

Salada with Vegemite and butter is also good. I combine Vegemite and peanut butter on corn thins (not the rice - blech). But I have heard it makes a nice baste for a roast. (crumpets with butter and Vegemite are also good, and worth about 1000 cals :P)

Speaking from my own experiences: *I* feel better about myself. None of my sexual partners have ever been down on me, and have said I am sexy, but I didn't really believe them. Now I am more inclined to. Confidence is sexy. Not only are there more positions available, I can last longer (stamina wise) in the…

I wont complain if I get down to a C cup. Right now the old girls are a flabby D, but were a not so flabby DD 9 months ago. Hopefully time will be on my side and the skin will firm up a bit, but I'm not expecting miracles.

*snicker* 344 of my last name in Tassie, but 7 in Queensland...and I probably know every single one of them! 80, 015 of my first name in the US 116 of my last name 1 with both first and last...I wonder if they are on Facebook?

The sucky part of that is that size 14 is now considered PLUS size!

Its winter here, and I'm struggling to stay warm without turning the heater on. It is about 50F indoors at the moment. I'd hate to be outdoors at the football or something! Since loosing my ..uh..insulation I've felt a lot colder.

I did to start with and lost about 12 kilos. Then that stopped being effective, so I stopped, and went back to losing weight. If' I am hungry I eat, but try not to go over the daily allowance, with the exercise cals added on.

this! I'm tired of having to choose functionality over 'pretty' things.

on average twice a day, morning and before bed. Maybe a third time before a shower if that falls between hopping on the scales. At night I like to guess what it will be in the morning. If seeing weight fluctuations every day bothered me I might avoid it, but it doesn't. I can easily not get on. I only record a weight it if…

I use Hermesetas for drinks (including lemonade I make). I use real sugar in baking though. I'm ok with that, coz I don't bake often. I've tried the Stevia stuff and don't much like it. Today was Sweet and Low in a coffee - that wasn't too bad. When I'm out I always take a few extra fake sugars from places for 'just in…

I went out last night and only drank water. I consider myself normal. Since when do normal people *always* have to drink when they go out? 'Going out' and 'drinking' are not synonymous. (don't mind me, I had this conversation with someone who assumed I'd NEED to drink to 'have a good time' last night before I went out.)
