  • Now that I'm officially done with the full 12 weeks, I thought I'd share my results. I lost 13.2 pounds and lost 3 inches off my hips, 3 from my waist, 2 from each thigh and a 1/2 inch from each arm.
  • Yes, you can do it!
  • I haven't updated in a while. I'm on my last week of JMBR. I have to admit I'm kind of impressed I made it all the way through. I've lost a total of 12 pounds and toned up a lot. I thought 9 and 10 were the hardest, with 11 being right behind them. I have to get a plan in place of what to do after. I am 6 pounds from my…
  • Thanks everyone for the help!

  • I know and that's what I'm wondering now. I've found them helpful in the past, but have gone 5-6 years without one and I am doing just fine with getting back to training post kids now.

  • Interesting. When I trained previously for some super long rides (cycling), I found it worked for me. I mean, I guess I don't how it would have been without, but it at least mentally helped. :)

  • Thank you. That is helpful to know there aren't any with internal memories. A bummer, but good to know. My plan was exactly as you said, to use it for steady state cardio only and to keep my HR in the optimal zone for my conditioning.

  • That'd be great. I was looking at that one, but the reviews are mixed (as always). Thanks!

  • I'm almost 8 weeks in to Jillian Michaels Body Revolution and I love it. It's about 30 minutes a day, 6 days a week. The workouts get progressively harder every 2 weeks, so it's a constant challenge and never boring. 4 days a week are a mix of strength and cardio and the other two are just cardio. I think you can't go…
  • I'm about 6 weeks in and am watching my total calories. I have noticed a LOT of change in my body shape and tone. I've also lost about 7-8 pounds. Good luck! Edit: my total weight loss goal is about 15 pounds, so I didn't really have a lot to lose, so I'm happy with the results.
  • I'm not even reading that cardio 3 breakdown until I've done cardio 2, which is tonight. I have to say, it is awesome how these workouts rev up every couple of weeks, because by the time the 2 weeks are up, I can actually do it all pretty well. It may not always be the case, but so far so good. And I cannot believe people…
  • I'm a day off, so just finished WO 5 last night and I agree about the dripping in sweat and losing balance. I feel like I lost a couple pounds with that workout alone. Haha! They're definitely challenging, but I'm really enjoying it.
  • I'm on workouts 3 & 4 and so far so good. I thought 3 was harder than 4, but I have stability issues with my right leg due to a past injury. I just do the best I can. I am sweating more than I did with 1 & 2 for sure and like the variation of changing this up. I don't particularly care for the plank to lunge and raise your…
  • I'm just starting week 3, so I just finished the series you're about to start. I had a hard time making it work for me in the morning, but I'm sure we're all different. Good luck!

  • I just finished up week 2 and am moving on to week 3 today. So far, so good. I was wondering if anyone would want to split out post topics by phase, so we can chat with those close to the same place as us in JMBR? I have a feeling this thread will get pretty long in a few more weeks. :)
  • Thank you Dana and Jodi. Your posts got me thinking that the morning might not be the best time for me, being up so early and on an empty stomach. The last few days I've done them after putting the kids to bed and it's SO much better. I feel like I'm putting more into the workouts and I feel much better. So far, I'm right…
  • During the workouts, I feel fine. It's the rest of the day that I'm dragging and not feeling well. I was WAY off in how I was eating before, so it's a big change and will just take me some time to adjust.
  • Oh, I won't bail. I'm too driven. :) It's definitely not the typical workout soreness that's the issue here. Prior to the babies, I was in pretty good shape, so I feel like I can gauge well what to expect and what not to. This is more than that. I've been feeling headachey, have had no energy and just feel like I can't…
  • Well, I'm just in week one, but I like the workouts. However, I think I made too many changes in addition to adding these workouts and I actually physically don't feel well at all. I think my body might be in shock, because no change in weight at all. And last week, while just watching what I ate and walking on my lunch I…
  • Welcome everyone! So glad to see more on the JMBR track. I'm only in week 1, but so far it's going great. I joined a while ago, but off starting so it'd coincide with a fitness challenge I'm doing with some friends.
  • Wow, that's great!
  • I'm starting JMBR on Tuesday. It'll be my first time through it, but I'm looking forward to it. There's a group that started just a couple of weeks ago, too. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/21339-jillian-michael-s-body-revolution-motivation-group
  • Truly, I'd probably be happy with any of them, since I consider myself in worse shape than they are. That being said, I think Lana.
  • What resistance bands is everyone using and did you find you needed more than one? My kit just arrived and my workout space is finally set up. (It was quite the process, as we've not been in this house long.) Anyway, my kit came with the JM green resistance band. I'm going to just use it and see how it goes, but am…
  • Hi everyone! I'm Julie. I will be starting JMBR fairly soon, as I just ordered the set today. I am a full-time working mom of a 3 year old and 1 year old. Between the kids, I got within 5 pounds of my pre-baby weight (with help from MFP), but since my second was born, I've not been able to do much. Add the pregnancy to…
