  • Congratulations!! You have come a long way and have so much to be proud of! So happy for you!
  • I have been where you are, almost 2 years ago now I made the choice to get healthier for my family and for myself. Best decision of my life! It has been a long hard road with plenty of ups and downs but worth every heartbreaking moment. You can do this. You know what to do, I think we all know what we are supposed to do,…
  • This is so tough. I too was in an unhappy marriage. With my husband for 18 years, married for 12 years. I started out a size 24/26, have within the last 2 years worked my but off and lost 138lbs, now a size 4. Before we would have sex 1-2 times a year. I was lonely and sad. I didn't know what to do. He didn't seem…
  • Hi, feel free to add me, I can be a great motivator!
  • Hi, I started my weight loss journey April 1, 2011. It has taken me over a year but I have finally hit goal. I have lost 136lbs. When you think of losing 100+lb, that seems like such a huge and daunting task. Break your goals down smaller, they will seem more manageable. I wanted to be my wedding weight, then under 200lbs,…
  • I think you should try it in a shake. If you put a little fat free greek yogurt, a little sweetener and some frozen fruit, it blends up just like ice cream. Yummy, even the kids love it.
  • I am 133lbs and 5'5". I am stopping here, I almost feel too skinny now. Now its time to start gaining some definition. I have a hard time seeing it though, although others tell me I look too thin all the time and are asking me if I am quitting losing. Take some pictures and compare them, sometimes that helps to look at…
  • A tsp of baking soda in with the water and eggs changes the PH levels and makes the eggs easy to peel.
  • For the lean cuisines, if you like them for the convenience, I spend a day on the weekend and make casseroles and put them into individual serving sizes and freeze them. Just grab and go for lunch or if the fam is eating something I can't. It is a little more work but its all fresh homemade ingredients.
  • I have lost 136lbs and am now in maintenance. I have been on maintenance for about 4 months and haven't lost weight but have lost 2 more pant sizes. My body is still settling and skin is still adjusting. I am quite sure that I will need surgery to totally fix it, but it is changing. I have read that you should be at a…
  • I have lost all my weight low carb. The carbs I do get are from fruits and beans, not from processed white breads, rice and pasta. I am usually between 50 and 100g per day although I do try to stay under 50. Its not easy but it is possible. I now have so much energy its crazy! I love eating low carb. Good luck!
  • Wow!! You have really done amazing!!
  • Wow! I don't know what to say, lol. I did not expect such an overwhelming response. It has been a lot of hard work. My skin is gross, I hide it well in clothes, but I can do so much more. I have written a couple of blog posts about my journey so feel free to send me a f/r and read them. I had a LOT of support and help…
  • Thanks so much!! It works!! :)
  • My pic didn't work :(
  • Wow!! You look amazing!! What a change!
  • Hi! I have lost 135lbs. Its nice to meet you! Its taken me almost a year and a half to do and its hard to stay motivated for that long. It definitely a journey, not a race. I would love to support you as you get started on your journey!
  • Woohoo!! And the NSV's are just beginning!
  • These are great!!! Keep going!! I love how we all have different ones that mean the most to us. Thank you to everyone for your kind words. I could not have done it without lots of support :)
  • 4 or 5 chocolate covered almonds.
  • My husband works very hard for us and works long days so I really hate to ***** about him, lol. BUT. He things he does that annoy me most are his sabatoging of my weight loss success. We always used to share a bucket of ice cream, or go for a pizza run at 10:00 at night, that kind of thing. Well I don't do that anymore, so…
  • Oh, yes, I noticed this when I was on a high protein diet. I am almost at maintenance now so diet is a little more varied and no more bad breath. Carry some gum around, its horrible!
  • I always do. I put it on my baked potatoes and tacos and anything else I used to use sour cream for too. Kids don't even notice.
  • Lean dense protein. Keeps you fuller longer.
  • I have actually been doing really well in June. I hit maintenance (thought I would like to lose 5 more lbs but am pretty happy where I am and doctor told me to stop.) I was really fighting the snacking beast and lately I am winning! I am down another .8 of a lb, which isn't much but every little bit gets harder and harder…
  • Planning, planning, planning is what has worked for me. On the weekends I'll make a couple of casseroles or stir fry' and freeze them in individual servings and then I have lunch or dinner handy and its easy. Also buying a cooked chicken and having it on hand is easy to throw in a wraps, salads, etc. Good luck!
  • Wow!! That is amazing! Great job!
  • I make sure to get around 80-100 grams of protein a day at least! Lean protein and water will help you lose the weight and keep you fuller longer. You have to go in manually to switch it but do it to give yourself piece of mind.
  • Hello, everyone! I am happy to join the April challenge. I have been reading all your posts but due to some computer problems haven't been able to comment so now finally here I am :) I have been discouraged as have fallen into some bad habits in March but April has come on and it seems I have gotten it back together. I am…
  • I have gotten back on track and have almost lost the little bit I had gained from being bad the last month. I want to lose this last bit and get to goal. I am so close! I am not buying anymore crap because I have no willpower, if its in the house i will eat it so no more! I also got my bike out with the nice weather,…
