Unless I see a woman with her feet in stirrups and a baby crowning I'm NOT asking when she's due. Seriously. 9 times out of 10 it's just a bad bad bad idea!

Monday mornings work for me! I didn't weigh in this morning, but I can get my 'starting' weight to you tonight when I get home! Thanks again for keeping this going Bronwen. I'm looking forward to more challenges and creating some HP exercises!

If you lose even just one pound per week you'll be down 52 pounds by next June. 2 pounds a week will be 104 pounds. It's totally doable! Just hang in there and take those baby steps. Remember that the weight didn't go on overnight, so it's not going to come off overnight either. :drinker:

My goal was 150, but I recently reevaluated things (figured out what my body fat percentage would need to be at in order to weigh 150) and decided that I'll consider myself toned, in shape, and one happy chic if I can get to 170-180.

I've heard that your morning weight is your 'true' weight. It's what I log when I weigh myself.

Feel free to look at my diary -- it's open.

Monastat used to make this gel that turned into a powder that worked for chaffing under arms and on the thigh area. Not sure if they still make it but it works pretty well.

I bake it on low heat, covered with foil. A little BBQ sauce, some low sodium seasoning, or even just a dash of salt and pepper work well.

I'm a night eater, so I can relate. It's gotten to the point where I just leave extra calories for it. I know that I'm going to have that snack sometime between 8-11pm, regardless of what I've eaten throughout the day. So now I just plan for it, and allow myself roughly 2-300 calories for that time of night. I know some…

You don't necessarily have to log it, just so long as you understand that your body will keep an accurate food log even if you don't. Basically what I'm saying is, yes, log it. If might help you later on down the road (if you're trying to see where you can cut calories from, so you can model another day out similarly,…

Where's your water?! Increase that to 8 glasses a day and I guarantee you see a loss.

I think those of us chained to our desks are all in agreement...we want one! (Minus the $8000 price tag, of course)

No, unfortunately, you can't just spot reduce and do tons of crunches and expect your stomach area to become firm. In order to lose the weight from that area you have to make sure that you incorporate cardio too. Cardio will help burn the calories, building muscle (ie doing crunches and other abdominal exercises) will help…

I know this sounds kind of silly, but have you considered calling or writing to the company? A lot of times the people at the top have no idea what's going on at the ground level. I wrote to a jewelry company once regarding a ring I was having issues with and they sent me a gift certificate, plus replaced the ring. It's…

I log as general circuit training.

I'm with you, NenaM812. I'm so scared to leave mine on! I know that nothing will happen, that my crockpot is in good working order and all that, but the thought of coming home to a burned down house somehow just terrifies me. I think our fear is slightly irrational and we would be okay to leave the crockpot on low...I'll…

Try making your diary public so that people can see your choices and offer some suggestions/support.

It depends on how long you want to do level 1. I've done level 1 for the full 30 days before. It all just depends on your comfort. As for calories burned, again, it's going to be different for each person. I typically burn roughly 250 calories, but I weigh more so it stands to reason that I will burn more than someone who…

I don't count it. It has caffeine in it, so I don't count anything that isn't plain ol' water. Coffee, tea, whatever. I only count plain water.

I lost 0.4 this week. Not much, but I'll take a loss over a gain any week! :drinker:

Torrid! Love love love their stuff. There's also the Avenue and Old Navy, but definitely give Torrid a try!

I don't have anything to make it more interesting, but it has replaced my mayo on turkey sandwiches. And there's the always popular avocado slice, tomato, bacon, and lettuce sandwich. Yumm.

I have an office job too, but can't leave to make it to the gym on my lunch. (I work a flexible schedule but I only take a 30 minute lunch so I can leave early) I usually walk around the building (either outside or in the basement) on my break and I've started keeping a 10 pound hand weight at my desk. It seems silly, but…

I'm so excited! I had such great results last time and I really need a group to help keep me motivated and hold me accountable for it. Going to try and go 30 days straight this time around! (Last time I did 4 days a week for 30 days)

Nope, but I've made it with Diet Sprite, Diet Coke, Diet Cherry Dr. Pepper, Diet Cherry 7Up, Diet Sunkist, and Diet Orange soda. (I like cake! )

There's a group starting on Monday if you're interested. Just FYI. Happy Shredding! :drinker:

Definite difference in your stomach area! You're doing a fabulous job! Keep it up! :drinker:

What she said! Surround yourself with positive people, not Negative Nancy (or in this case Negative Ned). You're doing a wonderful job. Keep it up!

New Adele Album. Nonstop. For days.

I've used it. It didn't do a single thing for me except give me the jitters and make me feel like I was going to have a panic attack by about the 5th day. Please be very very VERY careful with it.
