everyone here is correct- 3 or 4 people can share a lane fairly comfortably if you are swimming at the same pace. passing is also perfectly acceptable. she sounds like she doesn't swim very often herself!

I just started making "green monster smoothies" for breakfast....lots of calories...but keeps me full all morning I use: 1 TBSP peanut butter, about 1/3 cup vanilla yogurt, 1 frozen banana (make sure you slice it up before you freeze it), vanilla flvoured protien powder, about 1/2 cup skim milk, and about 2 cups of fresh…

sounds like you are trying to do too much too soon, and then after a few weeks you get overwhelmed and fall back into your old habits. try just tracking for a few weeks- no dieting or anything special, just get into the habit of tracking. then try to do one small thing (ie. cut your sodas down from 2 per day to 1, or try…

I don't mean to be a hater....but really...if you are having a bunch of people over, can you not just use a regular coffee machine? and really, making tea...is not hard. you place a teabag in a mug and boil water. voila- done. i think my main issue with these new things is the amount of waste that is generated from…

every winter i give myself 100 minutes of tanning bed minutes....i used them 6 minutes at a time and only go 1 or 2 times a week. it's just enough to get a little bit of a glow.

I did add a bit of…

I have to disagree....a number of MFP's have lost huge amounts of weight using this "1 low-cal dessert a day" strategy. If someone needs a 500 calorie piece of cake each day, they yes, we have a problem. Buf if it's a small portion, within your daily limit and it keeps you from feeling deprived and bingeing, then I say do…

I also have this issue :) I will usually have a low calorie ice cream bar-- I get these ones from Costco called "Healthy Choice Fudge bars" or something like that, and they are only 90cals- and very yummy. I also have some very nice chocolates that my hubby bought me for christmas which I have been savouring....just one…

my lowest ever adult weight was 132....so if I could get there, that would be awesome. Right now I just want to get to 140 and see how I look/feel.

i am just emerging from wheat I am calling "my 5 week funk".....i gained, was lazy and just generally didn't care. but then it came to the point where i thouight--- no, i 100% do want to get healthy, so the only option is to keep pushing. no matter how many times i fall down, i WILL get back up and keep going, because it's…
