cardio will never burn muscle unless you use up the body's store of glycogen AND fat. Only people in the last stages of starvation mode will burn muscle off.

I completely, 100% agree. BMI is useless when trying to determine fat. You shouldn;t worry about it, it's more a broad outline of the average weights of people with your height.

I lost about 7 pounds this way over about a 2 week span, but it was very, very hard. I constantly thought about food, and I limited myself to one meal a day. I couldn't keep it up long term.
