walk and jog the race. Don't push to the point of damage.

MFH says who cares.. depends on situation and what she is comfortable in

Love to run. Like the calories that burn off so I can have a few extra for the day. I always feel better after a run. I don't care if you run 8 min mile or 13 min mile. You are running not sitting on the couch

I am a trainer and I would not have you running. Walking yes -running no. After you were in better shape I would start speed walking but your legs and knees would take a beating to start running at this point. Strengthen the gluts then start speed walking towards jogging next year

Don't go to a closed door meeting!!!!!

You need to do core work to strength the muscles. Don't make them dependent on a girdle. Once and a while there is nothing wrong with it but do not wear it all the time. I have never see proof that it helps you lose weight.

Great all body workout!!! You'll be awesome. I love doing cross fit

I'm in. I does get harder to get it off for women over 40. Sucks but true. I'm a trainer and I deal with many women with the same issue. I poped up 73 pounds after 50 and then I had to work towards geting rid of the weight. It can be done. Your friends at MFP are here to encourage you through the process.

to be self-sufficient. They can do laundry and fix and easy meal and clean their rooms. They are older and not little but they know how to take care of themselves

the guy is an idiot. Your co-worker speaking up is great. You know what you are doing and working towards your weight goal. Don't let the guy get to you. Although the situation was bad how great to know who your real friends are. I've been there and no one can eally understand what is going on inside.

i wish I could do that but i'm to old. -- I give them the stupid and try not to respond since I'm above 65 Your to old to be running -- how do you do that? etc, etc, etc. The best one is when they ask who my doctor is so they can go to her for whatever she gives me. I tell them its called hard work and dedication

I went into maintenance 2 years ago and didn't gain any weight back from my 70 pound loss. You sound happy with where you are at. I would go with the .5 weight goal each week. If you add too many carbs back to soon yes you could possible gain a pound. I figured I worked to hard to get it off and had learned a lot about how…

i lost 55 pounds 3 years ago. Last year I decided to lose a few more. I completely changed my life style and eating habits. I am very comfortable heading to the gym instead of the bar. It took about a year into the process before I could look at eating as fuel. I am now a certified personal trainer and try to use my…

I'm in. We all need buddies to help us through. Plus I've been there.

as a trainer I always work whole body with my clients. You need to do the push-ups, squates, etc. to cover the whole body. Anyone with a trainer that only pushes weights or cardo...have a long talk. It takes the whole body work out to succeed. You look great! Thanks for sharing.

eat healthy and lots of protein. It will come off but remember - no such thing as spot reduction no matter what all those adds say.

get rid of the street shorts. Compression shorts work great for workouts.

I'm new to your post. I fiished my TRI last week and am looking to do some serious biking now that the TRI is over. Love cycling and being in communication with fellow cyclist.

Don't stress it out. You are doing fine. going up 3 miles will not be that hard for you. Just remember during the marathon -- pace yourself and watch your time. I don't know if yours has a mandatory finish time but know where you need to be and just have fun. Who cares how fast your run? You are doing something that…

dove - it has marathon super coverage on the container. Only one that works for me

Don't let your mind play the games. You could really make yourself sick if you try to lose any more.
-
mmmmm.. Congratulations!!!!
-
throw the larger pants away!!!!!!! Don't continue to wear them at all. You will always worry that one day they might fit but if they are not there, you will be wearing the correct size and felling good
-
No but I saw someone do it. He was flirting with a gal on the one next to him and she was ignoring him. After we knew he was not hurt (other than his pride) we all laughted

Great loss. Pictures are really good! Congratulations. Tummy Tucks don't work for everyone but after that hugh weight loss.. it was a good option for you
-
I don't wear one. I know by my breathing how I'm doing. I really don't need the HRM to know how I am doing.
-
You run what is right for you. I run appx 50 miles a week so what I run would not be appropriate for you. As long as you feel good and are doing the 20 miles a week a few miles a night that is good.

First off it takes to much energy to be negative about yourself and very counter productive. Logging is a tool. If you eat healthy and log you won't be on the yoyo thing with weight. Habits take a while to learn. I would start with positive thoughts about yourself and your goals.
