Nile, Skinless and Nevermore. If that doesn't get your blood pumping, nothing will.

If your blood pressure is very high, please see your doctor ASAP. High blood pressure is no joke, and you could stroke or have a myriad of other serious health issues. Its great you are trying to lose weight, and that is a big step in the right direction. But, call your doctor as soon as you can get in!

Honestly, I think you answered your own question. If you are eating them back and still losing, then you are fine.

I listen to audio books.

I buy mine on Amazon.

Your boobs. No, I mean my boobs. No, I mean... ugh. Nevermind.

This is the zombie I could be. I'm trying to lose weight (other than by parts falling off). But, man, those brains are fattening.
-
That's pretty sweet. Congrats on taking your life back!

I was the same way! Almost always, my lifestyle change attempts failed between Friday and Sunday. What I've recently started doing is treating the weekend like the weekdays. Meaning, I still get up, run on the treadmill, fast until lunch, and journal my entries RELIGIOUSLY!

Exactly. That other stuff isn't beer. If 3 of those would cost you 300 calories, then have a Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA, put in your 292 calories and call it a night.

I agree with Hummus, Skinny Cow cheese wedges and peanut butter (although, I'd go for PB2 for that - a lot lower calories!)

I love my beer. I figure as long as I don't deprive myself of food to "horde" calories for beer, and as long as I count everything I drink, I've got nothing to worry about.

MFP needs a /like button.

PB2 is only 5 carbs per serving (easy to find on Amazon or other shopping sites)

In lieu of my earlier comment about not giving up cable due to sports, I can also say we have a Roku and an Apple TV. Both are great. Apple TV is awesome because it can stream your itunes library. And, if you are technically savvy, you can also stream movies from a computer on your network (PC or Mac). Roku is also awesome…

As a couple of others have mentioned, the only negative IMHO is sports. I am a die hard hockey fan and a huge Steeler fan to boot. I cannot give up my sports. Not to mention, I need internet for my job (computers), and I wouldn't honestly save THAT much by dropping the cable part.

USAF 87-91. Glad some other branches chimed in on this thread - it wasn't looking good for us "Flyboys" towards the beginning!

Mr Bean FTW

I don't know you, but I unfortunately know your pain. Very sorry for your lose.

I had just closed out my journal for the night and wondered how it was 10 lbs less than yesterday. Then I saw this post. Looks like most people have the same experience I have. It is bound to be accurate in the same way a stopped clock is accurate =).
