  • Sounds like you could extend your exercise 15-20 minutes to help you with the extra energy. Also you could apply it to a new hobby that gets you out doing things you may not have done in the past (e.g., kayak, scuba, swim, shop, play).
  • Just a thought, but make sure your body is getting the calories it needs to develop lean muscle which will help you burn more fat. If you are burning protein for energy you won't do your body good.
  • I drink water all day. If I'm exercising I drink even more since I've seen my body sweat of 1.5 pounds with cardio alone. I would just consider it part of your daily routine.   • I use protein bars. One half of the bar before my workout and the rest when I'm done. It gives me a good shot of protein that allows my muscles to repair so that they can be better prepared to burn more fat :D
