Go through the website on a laptop, computer or browser such as safari and it'll work. I've managed to adjust and add around 50 recipes in the last few days.

I have the same problem. However if you go back to your menu and sync it, it has actually been stored. Mine always does anyhow.

I live near Birmingham and for 2 adults and a dog, I spend roughly around £50 a week with tesco on shopping. I find that meal planning for a whole month stops me buying items for the sake of it. I found when I wasn't meal planning my shopping bills were nearer £80-£90 a week, and that didn't include the two takeaways a…

Mine reminds me of the best day of my life back in May 2011 :D

I know at one point MFP asked me to update my calories to be consistent with my weight loss. And then the other week I was playing around seeing what my calories in take would be if I set it to 0.5lb loss instead of a 1lb, and then when I reverted back to my 1lb loss a week, it updated itself and took some calories off me!!

I wish I'd found this site before my Wedding last May 2011. But I wouldn't have changed anything else :D

For me, I am assessing as I go along. If I like the way I look in the mirror at 9st I'll stop, but if I think it needs tweeking a bit more, then I'll carry on until I am happy. Well done with your loss too. Such a fantastic feeling. Although, buying a new wardrobe is the expensive part too it, but what girl doesn't like…

I'm 5'4. 9 st is my target weight, but I'd love to see an 8 on those scales as a personal achievement. Even if its only just into the 8's with a 8st 13lb! xx

Aww thank you all for the replies. It really does make you feel so much better within yourself, knowing that just a little bit of hard work and effort makes a difference. At 11st 2lb that dress wouldn't even go past my hips!!! As in the first picture, 10st 5lb it was tight but I got in it. 9st 3lbs though, it fitted…

I also downloaded this app onto my iphone four months ago and its honestly the best thing ever. I really don't know how I'd get on now with trying to loose weight without this tool. x

No, sorry. I'm from the UK. This was a hotel about 15 mins away from where I live. It was hosting a meal and mardi gras entertainment night. The pictures were taken in our hotel room just before we went down. x

Sorry I have no idea how to upload an actual picture. If anyone's willing to help me out, would be much appreciated xx

Then just used your trained eye to gauge stuff, a rough estimate is better than nothing. Just put smallish amounts on your plates, so least if that gets eaten it doesn't look like you've left loads. x

If you really struggling with 1200 cals a day, set your weight loss to the one below, that way you should gain a few more cals back and not go over. x

I typed into the MFP search and with a good mooch through, found ones that looked right, and ones where you could get an accurate weight measurement (ie g), worked out before hand how much I could allow to eat and then weighed it out when home. I eat what I wanted but in limited form, but not with the scale consequences! xx

Use websites for there recipes so you can cook and try something different for dinner. I'd say plan you meals weekly/fortnightly/monthly so then you know whats planned for the week ahead and not having to think about what you can cook. Also I find with doing this, the cost of my shopping goes down as I am not buying food…

I am going to log everything, to purely see how crazy the eating gets on Christmas Day. But I am going to eat what I want to eat on the day. This is the reason I have done this weight loss journey, so I can have a pig out day, on the one day of the Year your allowed!!!

Exactly. I too and getting fed up of people telling me how "skinny" I'm looking, which then comes followed with a "Are you not eating?!' Umm.... Yes. I love my food, I still eat what I want to eat, I just eat in moderation. Just because I won't have a whole chocolate bar, doesn't mean I'm not eating. It's now purely…

I use 50g of oat, with 100ml of semi skimmed milk and then topped up with hot water. I then microwave for around 2 mins, stiring half way through. And then add a tbsp of Orange Blossom Honey x

Any cereal for me! Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day x

I eat back my calories. My recommended target is 1310, but I burn off 500 cals a day with exercise. There is no way my body can survive on 850 cals a day! On a day, I actually eat 1810 worth of food a day, so with the exercise burn, I am hitting my 1310 cals a day. Hope this helps. I am 5.4, and have steadily lost 23lbs in…

I weigh in daily, mainly because it keeps me on track. But my official recording day is a Monday morning.
-
I personally log everything at the beginning of the day, so that I'm not trying to guess about how many calories I am eating. That way I also know if I can over/under eating on my cals. x

I started at 156lbs (11st 2). As it stands from my weigh in this morning I am now 132.6lbs (9st 6.6) I would ideally like to be around 126lbs (9st) but I think I shall access how I look when I reach it, I might even be tempted to loose a few more lbs to get my to a nice round figure of 30lbs lost! xx
