  • Hi! I have a nine months old. I've added you :)
  • Hi! I've got a beautiful 8 months old sleep assassin.... My grand plan of working out while she slept came crashing down once she arrived and we realised she just doesn't sleep (and before you try to offer suggestions or advice please don't, we have tried it all and have accepted she's just into sleeping) Anyway things…

  • I did it, got alot fitter and more toned. It's hard work though, and you have to be committed to do it everyday and also stick to the diet plan. But I loved it, I really felt like I was getting a good workout
  • hi! i'm due in december with my first. horrid morning sickness meant eating nothing but cheese and crackers and cheerios, so I've gone a bit above what is a 'healthy' weight gain. at the moment, i should have gained 3-5 kilos but i've gained 9 :S so am now trying to focus more on eating healthy and slowing down the weight…
  • awesome, I was about to post the same question and already found the answer here! thanks!
  • greetings from down under! I'm from the lovely land of Australia. I'm an ex elite gymnast who took up running to try and keep fit after retiring from gymnastics. have recently reached my goal weight and am not trying to figure out how to maintain it since I no longer need to run every day YAY! wow Bri, the bikini modeling…
  • I like the stronglifts, mainly cuz it's free :P I will have a better look at the program tonight and see what it says. I like the idea of only having to train three times a week, rather an 6-9km running every day!!
  • hmm i'm curious to see what the answer is. when I do weights I find myself more hungry too!
  • holy crapola 1000 burpees? haha i had to do 20 the other day and nearly died. that said, burpees are pretty much the best excercise ever...cardio, strength, works pretty much every muscle in your body!! like the others all said, you need to burn the fat away so you can actaully see the muscle so starting with cardio like…
  • welome! i'm also a nsw girl, and as much as everyone has whinged about the lack of sunshine, i've been loving going for runs at lunchtime and not dying of heatstroke :) welcome to MFP!!
  • I went to a really really nice salon and got blonde highlights in my hair! another nice one is jewelry-buying something really nice that when you wear you remember that you EARNT it. a bracelet or a ring is great because when you put it on in the morning and see it all day you can be reminded of your goals to be healthy.…
  • thanks for the suggestions! I was feeling so down yesterday, it's such terrible timing just before Christmas too (i can't wear any shoes but thongs and just bought some gorgeous heels for all the Christmas parties!) Just got to remember to take it slow, let it heal, and do lots of weights and stuff that doesn't put…
  • whew! thankfully it went away by itself a few days :) however this has prompted me to get new runners and some insoles
  • i'm on a 1200 daily calorie. Usually I'm between 50-200 calories under my limit (with food + exercise, I do alot of exercise). but yeah was trying to figure out if it would hit me the next day if I go drastically over or if it would slowly appear over next few days.
  • i was always taught NO DAIRY before workout as dairy gives you a stich. after 10 years of elite gymnastics I found dry crackers like plain vitawheats and a handful of sultanas was the best for me. kept me full during 4 hours of training but didn't make me feel sick. but everyones different, i have a friend that swore by…
  • just went from level 1 with 1kg weights to 2kg weights. and tried to do the real pushups (could only do 10 though) oh man! fun times!
  • Hi! I started yesterday and LOVED it! it's my kind of workout for sure, fast, intense, and fun. Jillian is not as annoying as I was worried she would be (I am always wary of fitness dvds instructors as I suspect they will all be annoying crazy people). I wasn't too sore this morning which was good, probably because I did…
  • hey this is cool! i had no idea. thanks :)
  • i just cooked my sick hubby chicken soup. its pretty easy (i'm a fairly average cook) and is super healthy. if in doubt ask for help in your deli section (i did and that's how I got this receipe!) get raw chicken (i got half a chicken breast with the bones). The deli lady to remove all the skin (skin = fat and grease = bad…
  • wow there seem to be lots of Aussies on here! I figured the site would be mostly Americans since it's all in calories and lbs. good to see some down under spirit :)
