I always go for greek yogurt or an apple with peanut butter.. Just enough to hold my stomach down, but not enough to make me sick during the workout.

i was always taught NO DAIRY before workout as dairy gives you a stich. after 10 years of elite gymnastics I found dry crackers like plain vitawheats and a handful of sultanas was the best for me. kept me full during 4 hours of training but didn't make me feel sick. but everyones different, i have a friend that swore by jam on bread and another that had to have her pre-training apple.

Do you feel hungry? There is no benefit of consuming food before a workout unless you are running low on energy.

Kind of hard to suggest something since I don't know what calories you have left for the day. If it was me I would make a shake with oatmeal, protein powder and peanut butter.

I like an Apple (Granny Smith) and a few ( 10 maybe) Raw Almonds- Small but satisfying mix of Healthy Carb & Protein :)

I think i might go for the apple and nuts as i've got my protein shake for after my weights session later on.

Someone mentioned about a baked apple with cinammon and a bit of peanut butter...can you do this with a microwave?
