Add me too! 70 pounds to lose! Would love the support. :)
-
Same for me. Reducing carbs has curbed my appetite as well.

I think it just all depends on what works for you. I actually started WW 12 days ago and had lost 3 pounds at day 7. As an experiment today, I compared my breakfast and lunch on WW to my breakfast and lunch on MFP. (My breakfast was 2 cups of frozen fruit which is free on WW). In both cases, I've used 26% of my daily food…

Good for you!! Keep up the good work!!

LOL.

Make sure that you are eating AT LEAST enough calories to cover your BMR. There are tons of calculators out there.
-
I'd suggest calculating your BMR (here's a site :http://www.exrx.net/Calculators/CalRequire.html) and not eating below that. If you start at eating the minimum 1200 calories, there's nowhere for you to go. Create your calorie deficit with exercise. For me, my BMR is 1750 so I set my net calorie goal at that. I was eating…
-
You look great!!!!! May I ask how many calories you eat? I'm starting at about the same place you were :)
-
1750 (this is my BMR).
-
I agree ^^. It depends on the person. If you plateau, then try eating them back. IMHO, it backfires when people are overestimating their calorie burn, and in my experience, MFP was definitely overestimating my exercise calories.
-
Sleep makes a BIG difference. You should be getting at least 7 hours.

I agree. I wouldn't say it's trashy, but in a professional setting, some people may make judgments about it. I'm not a big fan of tattooes that you can't hide easily (ie, neck). I have a tattoo, but it's on my shoulder blade and I would never be exposing that area at work anyway.
-
You look freakin' awesome! I'm really self conscious too...but no one else knows it but me! You have NO reason to hide!!
-
^^Love this!
-
I do if I'm way under my calorie goal, like more than 300 calories under. :)
-
I used to feel the same. Now I do Zumba dvds and on the Wii. Its fun and it goes fast. I can't believe that I like to exercise now.
-
^^Agreed. I use a bodymedia fit.
-
^^Totally agree! I did a deep cleaning today and I counted it since it was way more than anything I'd normally do.
-
Absolutely! That's about where I want to be. Count me in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
^^Agree.

Thanks for sharing...you look awesome!!!!!!

Check out the New Rules of Lifting for Women forum. There are some extremely knowledgable folks and great weight training succes stories over there.

WOW! That's so awesome! I'm also "training" for my ten year anniversary in July...I hope I'm down 47 pounds by then!!!!! Great job! I'd consider weight training too if you wanna change it up a bit.

Hi Lifters! I'm new to this board. Just did my first workout today and it was really scary. It was my first time lifting and I was by myself trying to figure out how I was going to do the exercises in WO A. I know it sounds crazy, but I was surprised at how heavy the bar was and could just see myself trying to lift it up…

I had a great experience with Dr. Natura.

Wow, this is inspiration to everyone! Especially those who want an idea of how long it will take to lose xxx pounds. You made such a radical change between June and January...AMAZING!!!!!!
-
Good info!

Everyone's body is different. There are ways to lose an excessive amount of weight by then, but it's not likely to be long term weight loss. You have plenty of time to do it the right way and still lose a significant amount of weight. You could make a big change in 18 weeks....go for it!

So awesome!!!!!!
