That is an easy statement to make from the comfort of your home. If you think this was a 'disrespectful activity', you haven't seen anything. Stress? Ha! I don't think you really have a clue what your talking about.

You all say it was disrespectful, that he should have been a better representative of our country. Have any of you been in war? Have you had to deal with death all around you? Maybe don't be so quick to judge a man fighting for your freedom. Maybe try a little harder to put yourself in his shoes.

I believe in having two pairs. The Army made us alternate our combat boots for the same reasons. We had one pair with a knot tied in the laces and one without. We had 'knot days' and 'no-knot' days in basic training. It isn't more expensive in the long run (pun intended), you just have to spend more up front.

Eating or drinking too soon before a run would sometimes give me stitches. An airborne instructor once told me to yell as hard as I could to make them stop. It has always worked for me!
