Did day one today, I really didn't think it was bad, except my knees were popping like no ones business! I will persevere!

Thanks everyone for the feedback! I'm currently building up my running distance and will do some of the 30DS. I'm hoping to go INSANE February 1, and start boot camp here in march.
-
Not sure how, but I'll figure it out. We have a great Facebook group. Are you in any challenge groups?
-
I'm really intimidated, so I hope so!

Thinking I may do the 30 day shred prior to starting Insanity! I'm going to try level 1 this evening. Thank you, YouTube!

Bump Anyone else with experience?
-
Ok I will!

I wish! Grew up just south of Detroit, and went almost every year with my dad. It's the best in the world for a reason!

Maybe we need a new group? I'm not an admin on this one to open it to thers!

I was going to post the same question. I'm bored with my packed lunches and want to stay low sodium, so many frozen meals aren't good. Any ideas would be helpful. I'm currently doing celery w PB, hummus and pita, string cheese and a piece of fruit.

Hello?...

Mommahix, how are things going? I'm 30 days in to my challenge grop, will take measurements tomorrow. Yikes! 60 more days to go!
-
I'm game, too if you're still interested. I just came back off of an injury and definitely need accountability partners!
-
Hopefully there will be space next time!

Dropped out again when I fractured my shin during a half marathon, but now I'm back and ready for a challenge- whos with me? I need support, before I had my injury, I signed up for another half I September! Yikes!

I'm a principal. I was a teacher for 9 years before going into administration. I still love and miss the classroom!

I could kill a sleeve of Thin Mints in a sitting! Yummmmmmy!

Hey (former) Dropouts! So far, so good this week- tonight I did two my hours of cardio- one of kickboxing and one of zumba. I love both, but it's tough doing them back to back! Feel the burn! As far as loss, last week I was down 7. I don't like weighing myself, but if I get by a scale tomorrow, we'll see how it goes…

I've done well this week- I don't know how well because of my whole scale issue- but I have exercised every day and today I did back-to-back Zumba and Cardio Kickbox for two hours and it really whipped my tail. I love doing the logging (I think it's a control thing) so that hasn't been a problem! I need to get more…

Thanks so much! I, like many on those posts, find it hard to believe that I should eat my calories, as I've been successful on many less calories. Maybe my body doesn't have a starvation mode! :) I'm with you about the scale. I DO have weight to lose, but I think there are other indicators of my fitness, pal! ;)

I have two questions for everyone here- First, do you eat your exercise calories? When I was on MFP before, I never did and I was fine. HOwever, now I haven't been and I am HUNGRY- some others I know said I am supposed to eat those calories back for 'fuel'. Thoughts? Second, I am a person that does not believe that the…

Hey All! I'm so glad we have this group, it fits me well. I have several resolutions for this year: 1. Train for half marathon 2. Lose as much weight as I can with my busy life- I'm more interested in fitness, figure the weight will go with it. 3. Eat out less 4. Not let stress distract me; and don't let my job allow me to…
-
Also, if anyone on here is interested- we can form a group!
-
I'm looking for support too- been on MFP for a while, but took a hiatus for about 9 months and gained a bunch- I have work to do! If you want support, feel free to add me :) Take care, A

For me, it's more about the way my clothes fit- I don't believe in weighing myself compulsively- I feel that a better determinant of healthy is physical fitness, not necessarily weight. I know many thin people who are completely out of shape; and some slightly overweight people who are able to run marathons. I do believe…

All. About. This. Recipe! Thanks!

Your calorie deficit must add up to 3500 calories to equal a pound. If you programmed in your goal into MFP, it will calculate your goal calories based on your goal. If your day adds up to zero, you should lose the 1 or 2 pounds a week that you set as your goal. If your day is negative, you may lose more. If your negatives…

I agree that it may not be healthy to habitually practice, but have the cake. Let it go and have fun. Try to burn it off the best you can, but realize that the scale may not be as kind as this week (two pounds instead of three, maybe). It will be worth it to enjoy your birthday without regret.

I hate mouth noises too- particularly gulping. It drives me insane. Also, people driving with their turn signal on. Sends me into ROAD RAGE! I also really can't stand backstabbing people. I'm very overt, and tactful. It bothers me when people like drama and feel the need to stir trouble. I have zero tolerance for that kind…
