Rest week (pretty much)- back at it this week
I had been doing double workouts for a week and a half, and I just needed to chill for a minute. This week was insanely busy anyway, so I didn't get to work out as much. I did do a double on Friday afternoon-Pure Barre and YMCA. Even though my body needed the rest, I feel so much worse than before (I also ate some not…

One of THOSE days-can you relate?
Yeah, you know the ones, where someone says something that makes you question all the hard work you've been putting in to lose weight? Yeah- that was me today, someone asked if I felt the work I was putting in was paying off and then said 'well maybe in a couple weeks it will be noticable'. 30 days in, making major…

Fit bit questions
I don't understand the logging exercise on Fitbit versus MFP. Today I burned 600 cals during a workout. I understand not to double track, so I just left it on Fitbit- but it is going in as active minutes. Anyone else have 'fat days'?
I don't know if it is simply hormonal or emotional, but I have days when I just feel fat and frustrated, even though I know I'm working hard. On these days, it feels like what I am doing is not paying off, that progress isn't fast enough. It's kind of like bad hair days, only fat days. What's your experience with this?

Any ideas on why? I don't even know where to start on causes, I have been drinking lots of water, varying my choices of foods, and…

Prerequisites for success on Insanity
I bought insanity and would like to start, but I want to be successful and not defeated. Is there a prerequisite level of fitness or suggestions from those of you that have done the program? Should I focus on interval training? Thanks for any advice!

Back on track in Kentucky and Looking for Accountability par
Hey all, I've been a big MFP user for a long time; got off the bandwagon last year due to job stress, etc. I've gained about 30 lbs, and I'm ready to jump back in with both feet. I'm training for a half marathon, I need something to aim for. Anyone interested in being accountability buddies, I'm game! I will be successful…

Muscle soreness
Hey Fitness Pals! I have been hitting it hard trying to preare for a mini-marathon, even though I won't be able to compete in one until the fall. I want to be in shape by April... anyway, I was up to doing 5.5-6 miles a day, really hitting my stride; and then in the past week, my muscles have been extremely sore. I get…
