you can't pick and choose where the fat falls off. i'd recommend starting a weight-lifting regimen focusing on compound lifts: squats, deadlifts, overhead (military) press, and bench press. if you are worried about "getting bulky" don't - as long as you are eating fewer calories than you use in a day you will not build…

No. Just no. As long as you are eating at a deficit you won't gain muscle mass - you'll help preserve the mass you do have. Sure you might get some newbie gains but you're not going to turn into Mr. Olympia.

Unless you have a medical reason for it, there's no real reason to cut anything out of your diet. The only thing you *need* to do to lose weight is eat fewer calories than you expend in a day. Cardio is good for your heart and weight lifting (while eating at a deficit) will help maintain lean mass. Both will help burn…

Don't you think that if there were some magic pill you could take to lose weight EVERYONE would be taking it? Just figure out your TDEE and eat fewer calories than that. There are hundreds of people here that have had success with that method. Plus, it's cheaper than those "diet pills" you buy. I know you're mind is…

I don't know the circumstances of your situation but your profile says you are 27 years old. You're an adult and should be able to confront them about this.

you can't use the weights at your gym without signing up for a training/diet plan? time to find a new gym.

I use MapMyRun. Earlier this year I ran a 5k, an 8k, and a 10k and it was +/- 0.05km off at worst (assuming the start/finish lines were 100% accurate). Close enough for me.
