I just completed Insanity: Max Interval Circuit and all I can say is REALLY DUDE.. I mean REALLY. Mind you I did the 3rd Fit Test this morning which has jumping in it... then took LaVaughn back to school shopping... lots of walking. Needless to say I am tired. Time to eat some food. I declare I'll recover enough to do Max…

This morning I did the Insanity Fit Test 3rd time around and improved in all of the workouts.... I shed 1.6 lbs and 1 inch from my waist. Later today I have to do Max Interval Circuit.

Congrats of finishing week 3... Don't worry about falling off with eating what matters is that you get back on track and continued to workout.

YEAH... I'm soooooo happy... I managed to finish 1hr and 7 min of P90X Yoga X... the program is 1hr 35 min long. This is the furthest I've ever gotten in this workout before my body tires out. I burned 692 calories according to my HRM and I was sweating hard.

Recovery week is done... today was a test because I didn't want to workout but I did anyway.... tomorrow Yoga and Monday 3rd Fit Test.

Thanks... doing the Yoga on rest day really helps. For the first time I was able to do a full hour of yoga. Take your time doing it though, start off with 15-30 min then work your way up. BTW I wear a HRM with every workout and its amazing how many calories are burned doing yoga.

I'm in week 5 of Insanity and truly love it... I added P90X YogaX on Sunday's to help with much needed stretching. I love using DVD's to workout. I've already completed P90X last year as well as P90X/Insanity combine workout..I got the calender for that workout from Beach Body website. I've also completed XTrain by Cathe…

I'm in my 5th week of Insanity and love it... During my Fit Test I shed 3 inches off my waist and an inch from my legs, hips and thigs. It's all in the mind, once you have your mind made up nothing should/would get in the way of working out. I even plan to take my DVD's w/me when I travel to Florida. I've also added Yoga…

I do Yoga on Sunday's my "rest day" from Insanity. I use DVD's from Rodney Ye.. You can find them at Target, Walmart etc. He has an AM/PM Yoga that's 30 min each and good for beginners. Actually it was this very dvd that I got started doing Yoga. Yoga is good for relaxing and stretching. After a week of Insanity doing Yoga…

Awesome post... I track my sugar just to see which foods I need to alter.. I've gone over and managed to stay under at times. I tend to discount my intake of sugar from fruits but have removed some of my Fav daily snacks i.e. Yogurt Bites. I moved them to my "weekend treat". So I don't totally deny myself buut now make it…

I had an apple yesterday for mid-morning snack and was over in sugar after eating it... I was like WOW. I thought is was a little low.. I'm in the process of removing packaged snacks i.e. protein bars, trail mix etc and replacing them with fresh fruit and veggies for my mid-morning/mid afternoon snacks; no matter what the…

Ditto... I now track Fat-Sugar-Carbs-Sodium-Protein along with my Calories. Yes, I still have sweets, I opt to limit it to the weekend as a treat.

First of all I'm a parent of two boys 22 & 15 and let me say this they don,'t owe me anything, now or later in life for doing my job and taking care of them. I.E. diapers, food, clothing & roof over their head. I made the choice to have them and it’s my duty to provide for them. Some say your kids owe you for raising them…

Only for my hubby to enjoy.... Good holiday anyway.

Ditto... You have to do what you can stick with and what works for you.

It's normal... body is adjusting to the change. I had the same problem and went to my OBGYN and she said the same thing.. its normal. I use and app to track mine and put notes in it when things change. I lift weights and do HiiT style workouts.

Happy Canada Day.... eh

if you are only allowed 60 min for lunch then you should modify your workout to allow you to return within 60 min. I'm a salary employee and we have a Union; but my Union rep would give me the same adivce "return before the allowed time is up". I once was a single mom of two and had to make necessary adjustments. Most…

Don't eat past a ceartain time, no pain no gain i.e if you're not in pain the next day you didn't work hard enough.

AWESOME... Way TO Go...

You can do it.. it starts with your thought process.

I'm a very candid person and not everyone can take that; however to tell someone all of their hard work was 0 is cold. I would have said you can do better... work harder. Not to mention results may or may not show within one month. Everyone's body responds at a diffrent pace than others. I myself workout at home and always…

Listen to your boday and rest... when you do workout don't try to go at their pace go at your own. I did Insanity & P90X and did what I'm telling you to day and it worked.

For 8 weeks I was in an air cast (I've been out of it for 1 month now) due to genetic issue two of my bones in my foot fused together causing stress to my tendon. During the time in the air cast I made it my business to do at least something to continue my weight loss journey. I would do push-ups on my knees, sit in a…

What she said... I weigh in 1st Tuesday of the month... no need for the frustration. My cloths tell me when I need to buckle down.

Keep up the good work... weighing yourself every week can get discouraging because it will go up/down as your body adjust to workingout. Muscle DO NOT weigh more than FAT. A pound of muscle is exactly what it is... 1 pound just as a pound of fat is 1 pound. You wouldn't have picked up 1.3lbs of muscle in two weeks... so…

Way to go... Keep it up.
