I am 16 weeks pregnant tomorrow and would also like to gain a 'healthy' amount of weight. I have been eating lots of fruit and veg, turkey and chicken, low-fat yogurt and lots and lots of water. I have been having bad heartburn for some reason though and it's driving me crazy lol. Was going to get home from work today and…

I was going to ask this exact same question. I am 16 weeks pregnant tomorrow and I have gained about 5 pounds so far. I have set my goal to gain 1/2 a pound a week. Saying that, I only started logging again yesterday after having quite a while off. Like you, I don't want to lose weight when I am pregnant, so it isn't a…

Walk done  45 minute fast walk out in the sunshine. Got home just as the clouds rolled in. I  spring, nice weather and light mornings and evenings.

I like the Davina DVDs and I have a stability ball. I also have a weighted hula hoop, a bicycle and love getting outside when the weather is nice. Have a nice little dumbell set as well. Swimming is one of my favourites and it's something you can either do with the children or a lot of places have a creche. Either that or…

25 push ups done as well as half an hour walk  Contemplated not doing exercises today as I am not feeling very well ( TOM :grumble: ) Anyway, I did it and feel a bit better for it. Keep up the good work everyone xx

I had an hour walk at quite a fast pace. Feel so much better getting outside and exercising. I have missed the nice-(ish) weather. Picked up a bike helmet from sports shop so now I have the option to cycle too. So excited xx

I either have wraps with tons of salad, fruit with yogurt and muesli, leftovers or occasionally sandwiches. I get bored quite easily normally so I try to take things that I can make different every day. (Different veggies, fruits etc) I also take fruit or nuts and a yogurt for snacks. Experiment a bit and be creative. Good…

Hiya everyone!! I'm Jodi and I am looking forward to getting started on the March challenge. I have had a tough 9 months and need a boost to my confidence. I am quite good at the healthy eating and I enjoy exercise when I do it, especially outdoors, I just need a bit of a kick up the bum to get me doing it again lol. I…

Thank you for all the recipe ideas. Just got a load of chicken breast from the butchers and want to make healthy dishes with them. I have a Morroccan spice mix that you add a bit of oil to and make a spice rub. Then I put it in a pan and seal the flavours in, add a tin of chopped tomatoes and a tin of chickpeas, a few…

I sometimes have a piece of peanut butter on toast or a low fat yogurt if I get the munchies later in the evening. But mainly I just try to drink some water or a glass of milk to see if I am actually hungry or just bored. If it is boredom, I find something else to do. I know for me, if I eat too much too late at night, it…

Oooo....just thought of another easy and healthy idea with very little (or no) cooking required. Make a cous cous salad with some vegetables, beans, cooked chicken, nuts, etc. and take it to work and eat either hot or cold. Just add boiling water or stock to the cous cous and cover until it is absorbed. Couldn't be easier.

I get chicken breast and turkey breast steaks on sale and cook it at home. Then I use it for sandwiches, in wraps and in pittas. You can also use eggs, tuna or salad. Much healthier than the processed meats from the store. Not sure about the deli meats, but I would imagine they would be quite similar. :)

That makes perfect sense to me, but it is because I feel the exact same way. I have a very bad body image, but it is partly down to the fact that I think that numbers don't lie. I see other people that weigh approximately the same as me and think I must look the same size. But then I see people who wear the same clothing…
