My recommendation would be to get a a heart monitor like Polar FT4. It will tell you how many calories burned and you can just add it as HIIT.

Great job, To prevent shin splints, stand and bounce your toes up. You can do one leg at a time if it throws you off balance. Also, while you are sitting with your legs crossed, spell out the alphabet with your toes on the crossed leg.

I take my workout shoes, workout clothes, dvd's and weights to work and do my workout before I leave work and pickup my son.
