  • Do you add your exercise calories back in? I agree with those saying you are not eating enough and should log in more. It helps me to enter foods before I eat them.   • I purposely go over on my protein but I stay withing the carbs, fat etc. If you are short on the protein for the day, yogurt, milk. cheese and peanut butter are high in protein. Careful on the peanut butter because it is high in calories.

  • Thanks BrewerGeorge. I was too wimpy to say what you are saying but it is true. We would not need MFP because most of us would be starving. Organic is a nice concept but it just isn't possible if you want everyone to have food.
  • If you want to change your settings here is what you do. Click on My Home on top tabs, then click of Settings on 2nd row of Tabs. Then, click on Update diet/Fitness Profile. Make sure you click on the green box at the end to save changes.

  • Ha Ha - So true about what you concluded on the "Diet Drinks make you gain weight". I grew up drinking a diet coke and eating a candy bar because after all, you get your average down. So for me it is true. I did eat more when having a diet coke.

  • Are you adding back in and eating your exercise calories? You may need to eat more calories. Also, when you are exercising a lot it is a good idea to use your measurements to help track your progress. Muscle weighs more than fat.
  • Welcome! I love this site. It is something I can actually do. I just started September 1 and I have lost about 5 pounds plus I have thyroid issues so it does work.
  • If you are pleased with where you are then you are where you need to be. I know the BMI tool on here is just an estimate. It would be unrealistic for me to try and reach the healthy BMI weight number for me so I don't stress about it.
