  • Hey, soweit ich weiss gibt es mfp auch auf deutsch (myfitnesspal.de). Es scheint aber als sei da nicht so viel los wie auf der englischen Seite.
  • Hi there, you may add me too! I've started the C25K program several years before, but I always ran very comfortably. It wasn't 'til this august that I started to join races (Color run) and I got excited when I realized that running while being surrounded by a large group made me run faster and lighter. I even ran one 10K…
  • I also started on the treadmill, first walking, then very slowly jogging, doing the C25K program and doing so I already increased my speed from 5km/h to running 8km/h (over the years). 6 weeks ago I started running outdoors, tracking with the runtastic app. Afterwards I'm really surprised to see that it is so much easier…
  • I would like to engage in mutual motivation ;-) feel free to add me!
  • I've been using runtastic over a month now and I'm quite satisfied with it. It maps my run, tracks elevation and speed and has a voice that informs me after every km.
  • I'm a big fan of barefoot running ;-) It taught me that the running technique is even more important than the shoes.
  • I also did the c25k on the treadmill, starting with 5,5km/h which is very slow. I noticed that with time my speed increased, so now I'm often running 7km/h. But from my personal experience I would recommend trying to run outside on flat ground: I discovered that it seems a lot easier for me to run faster if I'm not on the…
  • I recently discovered runtastic, which I like because of its GPS tracking. Before I followed the "get running" c25k program. To get toned I would recommend some '7' app (bodyweight exercises)
  • The 'befit' channel on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/befit
  • Hi, I would suggest to try green smoothies. It's something I discovered recently and it helped me a lot to restart my diet after several month of pausing. They fill your stomach and take away the sugar cravings. -Jady
  • Feel free to add me, I paused ma weight loss for several month and I am restarting since last week.
  • I cure it with green smoothies and lots of clean eating. I experienced that when I'll full with nutrient dense food the cravings disappear. I also pay attention to not have any unhealthy food in my house, so if ever I get a small craving I would have to eat something clean.
  • If you want to try out bodyweight exercises I would like to draw your attention to the fact that there are several apps called "7" which show you some exercises.
  • My personal definition of clean eating is: unprocessed natural food, like veggies and greens, fruits, nuts and seeds. I consider organic meat and eggs also as "clean". You could look up the following ideas on the internet: green smoothies, eat to live by Dr Fuhrman, paleo diet I would really recommend to try this kind of…
  • I'm restarting my diet and as one already stated before, for me it's also hard to eat up to 1200 kcal. I lost some weight several month before and stayed there. My professional life got a bit tougher and so I was happy enough with maintaing my previous loss. But now I'm focusing again on losing some more pounds. To begin I…
  • Hi, I'm 5'9 and aiming for 140, the weight I had during my teenage years til my mid-twenties. My current weight is around 194, I started at 216.
  • Hi, I ade my very first green smoothie just yesterday and I was amazed about how good it tasted. I used a banana, a cup of frozen tropical fruit mix, some strawberries and broccoli and mushrooms, this was what I had on hand in my kitchen. (Yesterday was my country's national celebration day and all the shops were closed)…
  • What I do to avoid boredom: 1. Interval-training 2. I have my Macbook in front of me and I'm watching TV-shows 3. I listen to language-learning podcasts to get my brain working while my feet run quite automatically
  • For me it's the exact opposite, since I use them I have no more knee pain. I have KSOs and do agree on the fact that they get a little loose. Besides for my training I use them also if I'm working in the garden, which really feels great to me.
  • Hi! In my fitness club you can always ask the stuff to show you how to use the training machines and they give you a personalised training plan, maybe they do the same at your club. I also like pasta, and so I try to put my vegetables in my tomatoe sauce. For the busy days I have some ready-made organic sugo, which counts…
  • Maybe there some outlet fitness store near you... As for the cost of a bike: I've spent 15€ for my secondhand bike (Amsterdam style bike) at a flea market. It may not be considered by most people as very fancy, but it's in good condition and does its job.
  • Something that works for me are "motivational posters" (found them @ pinterest) that I've hung up just in front of my treadmill, with statements like: "It's actually pretty simple: either you do it or you don't" or "Just run", they have some kind of "brainwash-effect" and keep pushing me. Good luck!
  • Hi! I started the program about 10 days ago and will be starting week 3 this evening. I also run on the treadmill and try to skip the walking part in the middle, which means I run during 5 minutes. Good luck to you!
