Once you get your food measurements down, if there's still a problem, try eating things like peanut butter and avocados to get your calories up!

WHAAAAAAT! This is crazy impressive

This is a classic case of muscle gain! Gaining muscle will always add pounds onto the scale and it can be discouraging to see that number increase. But you're doing the right think in measuring your body fat. Also start taking measurements because those two things will really show you your progress from exercise. If the…

Michelob Ultra is 95 calories. Not sure if it's the best beer, but I always grab that instead of my beloved Blue Moon, which is almost 200 calories!

I HATE pizza! Anything with tomato just grosses me out.

My dog struggles so much, I count it as light cleaning! You burn calories doing everything, so you might as well log some of it, especially if it wears you out.

Wow! You can really see the change in your face. It shows off your beautiful bone structure!

I've lost 30 pounds on 1200, then gained a few pounds back in muscle. Some days I'm starving and go over but some days I'm always full and have trouble meeting the recommendation. It took me about a month to get used to it, I think my stomach shrank in response. Then 900 calories was sometimes as high as I could get…

1200 and always full! Feel free to add me (:

I hear the minimum is 30 minutes a day. I, myself, sometimes don't do it all at once. Your body won't tell the difference between calories burned all at once versus over the course of the day. However, if you're trying to increase your cardiorespiratory fitness, try to do it all at once, no matter how treacherous that…

No, this is absolutely fine if your intake isn't ridiculously surpassing the recommendation- that's when it can get bad. Here's a link written by people smarter than me! http://www.daveywaveyfitness.com/nutrition/8-side-effects-of-too-much-protein/

Oh god I saw this too! She is absolutely fit and her body is spectacular. The reason men find her so attractive is because she has that small layer of fat- normal to ALL females- that makes her look soft and feminine. And let's face it- men are subconsciously attracted to women that look fertile. It's the science of it. We…

I love walking at 3 or 3.5 mph while listening to an audiobook. I literally had no idea an hour had passed.

1200-1250 lady over here!

I agree, going over on protein is a good thing. Same with fiber. I think your diet is fantastic!

Look up Andrew Johnson. He has hypnosis tapes, but they're more like meditation. He has tons of themes, including losing weight.

Thank you! People (including myself at some times) rely on the scale numbers far too much, when we really should rely on the results we see in the mirror and how we feel. This is especially difficult for people with Body Dysmorphic Disorder or any eating disorder because the mirror image is mentally distorted. So I really…

Agreed! You look like you're 10-20 years younger!

Everything looks great, although I would suggest increasing your water intake even more. I thought I was drinking enough at 8 cups a day, but when I started working out more I got dehydrated. My acupuncturist sent me this link: http://nutrition.about.com/library/blwatercalculator.htm that easily tells you how much you…

Hey! I'm a sophomore in college and 19. You can add me if you want!

I've been around the block with antidepressants and Lexapro made me gain weight, while Prozac and Effexor XR have not. In fact, I'm losing weight on Effexor because I went from shoving comfort food in my gob during my depressed state to now being able to control mental cravings. For me, I think the weight gain attributed…

No. In fact, nobody outside of this website knows that I use MFP. Although I know there's nothing to be embarrassed about, I would feel shameful if other people knew how much I focus one exercise and food. When anyone my age counts calories, other people immediately assume an eating disorder and refer you to a counseling…

I'm in! I'm 5'8" and 148.

I absolutely think you should log because that way, you'll see if you're giving your body enough fuel- and it seems like you need A LOT with the amount of exercise you're doing. I'd say go ahead and start logging, but if it turns into a pain in the butt, it won't hurt to stop logging.

I have had 2 people close to me take prednisone for injuries or chronic pain. They found that if they ate any sugar while on the meds, they got very bloated and gained quite a bit of weight. Perhaps that could be something to watch out for. Good luck to you!

This happens to me quite often. I have Chronic Daily Headaches, so whenever I do a hefty workout, my always-permanent headache sky rockets and nothing (even prescription painkillers) can get it to go away. I also drink plenty of water (9 cups daily). There's something called Exercise Headache that you can do some research…

Awesome! Your skin is glowing. Did you change your skin care routine or is it just weight loss? Either way, JEALOUS!
