Scary to think how many soft drinks I've had in my life. Probably way more than what's on that pallet. Makes me glad I gave them up for New Years this year. Seven months later and I'm still not craving them!

The more I drink the more I retain. I gained 6 lbs in 5 days. I'm not highly active and I'm not out in the heat all day.

I agree! I was drinking 8-10 cups a day and was retaining the water. My trainer suggested I only drink when thirsty and I'm starting to lose the water weight. All I can say is everyone is different, some retain water more than others.

I take green tea capsules since I don't like tea. I think it helps with my munchies and gives me an energy boost.

I'm still extremely overweight, but walking is all I can since I have a bad knee and back. I've lost 70 lbs just walking. I do 15-30 minutes a day on the treadmill at 2.5 mph. I've recently added 2 days/week of water aerobics and I love it. It's super low impact and burns at least 300 calories during a one hour class.

My doctor told me the same thing. I'm 28, 362 lbs, and eating 1300-1500 cals a day. I walk for 15-30 minutes 5 days a week, and recently added 2 days of 1 hr water aerobic classes each week. I gave it up when I had some wisdom teeth pulled. It was only then that I realized my acid reflux was 90% gone. I cant drink anything fizzy now because it gives me very painful indigestion.

I stopped eating until I was stuffed and completely overhauled what I eat. Portion control works wonders, especially with a food scale!
