I have knee issues too. Water aerobics and swimming are great because they are very low impact. I've been doing water aerobics 3 times a week for almost a year. I've gained enough strength that I can now do light hiking and trail walking.

There are bugs on the veggies I buy, organic or not. I've bought lettuce at Wal-Mart and found dead bugs between the leaves. Now if the bugs are in packaged food....then ewww!

I had the same issue when I was a kid, and I was picked on horribly for it. Having PCOS didn't help as I had to shave my chin by the time I was in 5th grade. Talk to her doctor about a hair removal cream. It would be safer than a razor, and you could set a limit, like only using it once a month.

My present to myself is avoiding others. I usually spend my birthdays alone, driving thru the country, and eating lunch in whatever small town I come across. This year, however, I will be setting up a haunted house/cemetery at a campground at the lake. It's a ton of work for 2 days, but very active and fun!

I had mine out last fall. I lived on jello, mashed potatoes, green beans and steamed carrots. I would eat roasted chicken or turkey, but cut them in to bites I didn't have to chew (like the size of my fingernail). Agreed! I make all my holiday food the southern way, butter and gravy. I only control my portions, this allows me to enjoy thanksgiving dishes for a week or more.

I wish I could, but it takes 20+ sticks for my doctor to get my yearly blood work. I donate items for emergencies instead.

I mix 1.5 tablespoons of jay robb protein powder with 1/2 cup of whole foods fat free Greek yogurt. It's the best tasting powder I've found. I love the tropical dreamsicle!
